Guys. GUYS. EVERYONE.

Back this fucking thing, BACK THE HELL OUT OF IT. The time is NOW.

I'm trying to back it, really I am. But every time I try to click submit, I find my self inexplicably facing the wrong direction. Also, I keep tripping over things I cannot see.

And why haven't they chosen Kickstarter like they did BEFORE???
This may not end well.
After Spacebase, who can trust them? :/

Because Fig is the new fundraising site they've helped co-create.
It is interesting to see GOG's sales figures. Less than I expected but not bad anyways -

Precisely.

Didn't they also launch & finish the massive chalice KS while hiding the fact they pissed away the budget on broken game? Then later on pulled the plug on space base df9 contrary to what they were babbling beforehand.

Knowing they are involved in fig puts that entire site on the red scammer alert list.

If they get a product out that isn't a pile and years down the line it's on sale . . . . maybe?

And to a lesser extent, Broken Age. Massive Chalice seems to have been poorly received, as well.

Hopefully this ends up being one of their better games for the sake of those ponying up, but there's no denying that their track record lately has been less than inspiring.
Is Broken Age finished yet?

Double Fine has done some great things in the past, but I certainly don't trust them enough to back something of theirs.

Fucking THIS. Especially Tim's utterly flippant attitude toward paying customers and loyal fans who were justifiably angry at that situation.
I'll be psyched for the game if/when it releases (if it's available DRM-free, anyway) but I've learned from multiple Kickstarter campaigns to not waste money on crowdfunding ever again.

Another good point. Double Fine seems to be hit and miss on the DRM free lately. Massive Challice is, but Costume Quest 2, Spacebase DF-9, Hack n Slash aren't.

Don't forget to mention The Cave. I miss Costume Quest 2 and The Cave here most. Ah well, it's their loss too.

So only 7% on GoG if we ignore the bundle, retail and console numbers

Ignoring bundles, the console & retail PC sold slightly less than the PC version, We don't know the numbers for each console, splitting evenly a single console platform (either PS or Xbox) may get 15% of the market share.
With bundles console & retail PC numbers is about a quarter. of the pie.

It is more lucrative to release in the PC market.
