It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

bhrigu: But the question is are you playing those games?
avatar
GR00T: That's a weird question. We don't buy them to play them, do we? :P
LOL. Yeah, sometimes it does seem like we buy them just to.... spend our time on the forums... lol

zeogold: That's why I made this one, though, as an effort to stop the threads about it. [...]

HunchBluntley: That's some...curious logic.
Considering this is the second one of the "I started a thread so folks would stop asking" threads....

*sigh*

Sorry but one of things we teach to our clients about forum moderation is that you need to keep control of your forum. Lock the extra threads with a link to the main thread about a problem and a reminder that it's a good idea to look first before hitting that New Topic button.

Someone was around about 12-14 hours ago dealing with a couple spam posts so we know someone is out there.

edit: By the way, has anyone noticed that when you post, the forum reloads to the top of the last thread instead of your post like it used to?

I swear, half your posts, but just in case:

I wonder if this is related to my game count dropping by 100?

Whoa... that's definitely NOT good. Not good at all.

You need to address this GOG. Make an announcement of some sort.

It might only be the reported count being broken or they changed how the count is reported. I'm trying to think if I have any screenshots which show the previous value I remember seeing.

Otherwise, I'll have to check it all (again)!

Thank you.

I have that thread marked as a favorite but for some reason it keeps on disappearing. Only one of the ones I have marked as such.

Mine's holding at 204.

edit: *chuckle* Check to see if Softporn Adventures has disappeared from your library if you;ve ever purchased the Larry collections. It was reported a few days ago by another user.

I just checked mine. Fortunately, I just made a post on these forums the other day showing the game I purchased that got me to 1200 total. So I went into my "Orders and Settings" tab to see what I've gotten since then and I had made 8 purchases... but one was DLC to a previously owned game. And my count shows 1207. So I think mine is right. Hope it stays that way.
I can't even load the Support Center page to fire off a support ticket.

edit. Finally: #223472

Since this bug seems to be getting worse (maybe?) and more people seem to be experiencing it I decided to post a PSA on /r/GOG as well to inform more people.
The game count in the drop down doesn't even match the game count in my account page (off by 2). Magog reports a game count that is closer to what I am expecting..

EDIT: Wow, I just had to scroll down every page of my account to click the next page button to get to the last page. lrn2ui GOG!

Breja: I heard the issue will be fixed if we make a thousand threads about it before Sunday.
At least if we did that maybe GOG would finally say something about the issue.
So It seems that gog not only ignore the forum posts int this matter but also bug reports at http://mantis.gog.com

Meanwhile if you inspect the gog.com webpage in your browser and go to console tab there is a hidden message from GOG .

Not trying to be negative but it's usually it;s a plus to state what you;re looking at when bringing up issues on a support forum and not make folks jump thru hoops.

I for one do not have a "console tab" in my browser. I'm using Firefox and I;m assuming you're using Galaxy. Many of us here do not.

Thanks

I would assume he (or she) is talking about the dev console in the browser that web devs use... there is a hidden message on GOG if you know where to look. xD

EDIT: And Firefox does have one by the way, hit F12 (or that is what it is in most browsers) and click on the console tab.
