Telika: The ominous thing is, they often stated that it doesn't mean "good old games" anymore.

But... if they still use g.o.g. as initials, it implies that it means something else now.

HunchBluntley: And so begins the traditional "But what do the initials stand for?" portion of the thread.
I'm going with gross octogenarian grannies.
Yeah. Bad timing. I should have pointed it out before the three million initials speculations threads we've had.

Or maybe let's read these backwards.

According to Wikipedia: Gog and Magog are allies of Satan against God at the end of the millennium, as can be read in the Book of Revelation.
So CD Projekt is taking sides rather early on.
Jiff.
I pronounce it like Beaver Cleaver would.

tinyE: I just call it..........Tim.
There are some who call him that.
"Gog" and I also pronounce "lol" as "lull" rather than el-oh-el.
"Gog", like an acronym, not an initialism*. Oh, and its "gif", not "jif". Fite me bro.

* EDIT: both are abbreviations, my bad.

It's spelled G-O-G but it's pronounced throatwobbler mangrove.

Oddeus: at the end of the millennium
Do they specify which one ?

MightyPinecone: Oh, and its "gif", not "jif".
Exactly! gif as in "giraffe".

; )
"Okay Djodj, bend over."
It is gog. Ain't nobody got time for gee oh gee.
I've been thinking G-O-G all this time. Though I have heard reviewers for pc games say Gog.

I've always wondered how people get "lull" from LOL. If anything, it would be pronounced "lawl" (roughly rhyming with ball), or maybe "loal" (rhyming with coal).

And yet I say 'lol' rhyming with 'doll'
I also say gog and not g-o-g.
Yay for efficiency ( LOL / ROFL (roffle))
