50% off New 'n' Tasty and up to 75% off Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, Exoddus, and Strangers Wrath. And he still can't even.

From humble beginnings as an assembly line janitor, through a very oddventure, till a reasonably glorious hero-status. Abe has left a lasting impression on us all. And it turns out that it's been precisely 18 years since we met. How oddly time does fly, and how strangely discounts work, with 50-75% off the series for 24 hours in Abe's 18th Oddiversary

Unsettling. Peculiar. Odd. How else can you describe Abe's Oddysee, the story of corporate cruelty, and one man's stand against it all? A timeless tale in a disturbing universe and cruelly difficult gameplay continue throughout Abe's Exoddus with an even bigger, more puzzle focused challenge. Will you save your people, or save yourself? At 75% off, either way is good really.
Then, there's Stranger's Wrath HD - a story twice as weird, half as creepy, and immeasurably fun. The Stranger is a gunslingin' bounty hunter of the colorful Oddworld - full of signature humor and particular art. Live (literally) ammunition, insane mechanisms and mind-blowing landmarks await in the TPS/FPS blend, also 75% off.
Finally, you can see what difference eighteen years make in Oddworld: New'n'Tasty - a true remake of Abe's first game. Eighteen years later, the sounds, the setting and the flavor are still here - all brought up to modern platforming par and beyond. New controls, refined mechanics and restructured puzzles, and a new kind of Oddysee await - 50% off!

You can't even with Abe's 18th Oddiversary, with discounts from 50-75% extended for a total of 48 hours. The promo will last until Thursday, September 25, 4:59 PM GMT.

tinyE: ON A SERIOUS NOTE XD

I think Abe 1 & 2 are two of the greatest games ever, but I've heard Strangers Wrath is a pretty big departure. Is it a let down for fans of the rest of the series?
It's my favorite part of the series, but keep in mind it's an entirely different genre - Action/FPS .
Darn the DLC is not on discount. =(
Shh I'm a cheapskate. :)
Soooo Steam gets a free Abe and we get discounts:P
Pity you're still missing Munch. I'd gladly repurchase the games here if you had it. (I currently own them with STEAM-DRM.)

No point only getting part of a series, though.
Are they still making new DLC for New'n'Tasty, or is it only those two DLCs (Scrub Abe and Alf's Escape) which you need to buy separately?
Like me some Abe... have to see which I have elsewhere and maybe add to the set.. :)

edit - I see Steam has a nice 4 pack on sale for less.... hummmmm....

Odyssee & Exodus were the games that made PSX owners proud back then. Truly wonderful games and highly recommended to all platform game lovers out there. :)
So it's been five years since the release of the Oddboxx on Steam and it's still not complete here?
Not only does Steam offers more games for less money, one of the games isn't even here.

Now, I *would* prefer to buy it here, even if it cost more IF I knew that the missing game would be here eventually.

I will ask this with absolutely no hopes for a reply:

Will GOG get Munch's Oddysee in the future?

As I mentioned, I'm not hoping for a reply... but I'll wait until just before the sale ends. If GOG stays silent, I'll just buy it there. Since I like collecting series of games in only one place, I guess that means I'll never buy an Oddworld game here.

Your call, GOG.

Dalthnock: Will GOG get Munch's Oddysee in the future?
Yes, they will do so just some days after you have bought the series on Steam.

Joking aside, I don't think that GOG will be accepting Munch's Oddysee in its current state, as there are still threads on the game's Steam forum (as well as various reviews), stating that the game just doesn't work.

Terpor: This promo will nice an dandy for newcomers, but where in the hell is Oddworld : Munch Odyssee?

InfraSuperman: Certain people would answer that with "on Steam."
Sadly i have that game on Steam and if i remember correctly, you can launch it without Steam.
well, there is a free game on steam... When I pay a game I want it DRM-free, but when it's free....

Yep. I just saved the 299th mudokon the other day. I guess the 300th will have to wait for another sale.
Been waiting for New 'n' Tasty to go on sale.

I did the derp thing and bought it on Steam at release day. Been wanting the DRM-free goodness since.

Plus the old Oddworld games were a big part of my childhood.

Great sale!
http://www.oddworld.com/2015/06/oddworld-munchs-oddysee-coming-to-mobile/

"The mobile version of Munch’s 3D platforming adventure is being made by our friends at Square One Games. That Vancouver studio previously made the excellent mobile version of Stranger’s Wrath, so we couldn’t be happier to know that Munch is in very safe hands.

Once Square One Games are finished making this mobile version, they intend going back and using it to renew the PC version of the game currently available on Steam, improving that version of the game too. It’s our intention to make this updated version freely available to anyone who has the existing version of Munch’s Oddysee in their Steam library."
