I recently purchased the witcher3 and, of course, I downloaded GOG as normal that either .. I have a problem though: it the store, and the library they are well displayed and continues to look for updates without actually connect to the platform; the downloaded / installed is 0.6.2.782

Wait, doesn't 0.X indicate an alpha version? How on earth did someone who signed up last month wind up with the Galaxy alpha?

That's a really good question as that is definitely an old alpha version. I wonder if he downloaded it from GOG or got it elsewhere, in which case, it is likely riddled with malware.

That's probably what it was -- an off-site download.

Daudhir86, if you got your old version of Galaxy somewhere other than GOG.com [EDIT: or the Wild Hunt install DVD], you probably want to run some malware scans. And, of course, download the most current version.

Sure, it was an alpha version. I think OP got it with The Witcher 3 DVD.. 0.6.2.782 wasn't available for download from GoG.

Ah, that makes more sense. I had forgotten that Galaxy was actually included on the physical discs. (Stupid decision, that.)
