It's only a workaround, but try to run the game without GOG Galaxy. To do so, go to the folder where you've installed the game and run the EoCApp.exe file. You can also make a shortcut to it on your desktop, so you won't have to go to the folder each time you want to run the game.

I tried, but it tells me that it can't go on because MSVCP110 was not found.

https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/2873390/update-is-available-that-improves-the-reliability-of-offsite-backup-op

This MS-Update contains the missing dll. Backup Msvcp110.dll and Msvcr110.dll in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ (provided they exist), download the .exe from the link above, unzip it, copy Msvcp110.dll and Msvcr110.dll to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\.
It sounds like (and there seems to have been hundreds of these threads over the last week) that you are missing a c++ extension.
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-do-i-fix-missing-msvcp110dll-file/cc465e15-4cff-48bc-82bb-b8b8ac30fe8f

The game installed should install this for you, but you can cancel and I do not know if galaxy is broken and not doing this.
My recommendation, as always, is to not use galaxy, download the offline backup installers from the website, install fully from there to a folder not used by windows, eg c:/mygames, and then run it from the icon.

I suspect, given the number of these threads that galaxy is somehow broken and not installing things correctly.

Thanks, after installing it, the game started perfectly from both GOG Galaxy and the icon from the folder Sarafan mentioned.
What nightcrawler said. Some of these older games seems to have a hard time functioning with Galaxy...

In case you need to manually install Visual C++ libraries: https://silent-install.net/software/microsoft/start

Yes, GOG really needs to address this, there have been hundreds of these threads all with the same issue over the last week so obviously something has broken with galaxy. Will put in a ticket.

Noticed that too - especially Bethesda's games (from what I've seen)...
