I think honestly a lot of people are completely jaded of the monarchy. I find the continued existence of it to be perplexing, but I wouldn't exactly go biting at the bit to make ill.

Very sad, very likeable man, had a great sense of humour. Too bad he lived long enough to see what a disappointment his grandson was.

I was referring to all that stuff with Harry and his horrible wife trash-talking the monarchy. Terrible people. I actually once liked Harry (he killed quite a few Taliban with his helicopter gunship iirc), but what he's been doing recently is just disgraceful. Should be disinherited and banned from Britain for life.

Rest in Peace. I liked Prince Philip (he is spelled with only one "l" by the way) and find it sad he missed his 100th birthday by 2 months.

I'd put this on a giant flashing billboard above planet Earth. Maybe someone out there knows the answer to why humanity likes to hit itself in the head with a bat.

Just like traditional cooking recipes, they are part of local history and some people find it hard to let go of the past.

I'm surprised, not at the negativity, but that it is all from foreigners. Why do so many non-Brits have angst about the British monarchy? It's not like they have a track record of insulting other people's countries.
