He could play a lot of instruments, somewhere around 27 or so I think.

This is the internet age. I started using the internet in 1994 because I was such a big prince fan and didn't want to rely on media reports. And since then I was almost every day on some fansite (or newsgroup back in the days) to see what's happening. And there was a lot going on, because he was very prolific from the beginning of his career until today. He gave so many concerts and released tons of music.

My childhood heroes, especially those from the eighties are dying. It feels like they are taking a part of me with them every time. I sorely miss the parts dead and gone.

A lot of them are younger than me so I guess by that time I wouldn't really react.
