Very funny :-(

When I look on gog.com page and I see interesting game (or sale) I log in to my account.
And it is what I see: game which costed 2,19$ now cost 2,49$
I checked this mamy times. Very stupid policy.

It's 2.19 EUR and 2.49 USD.

You should check it again. It's more than likely €2.19, not $2.19.

Edit: OK, you ninja'd me for once.

Kamist_Reloe:
Weird, I don't think regional pricing should be different depending on if you are or aren't logged in.
Are you sure it's set to dollars at both times?
In the bottom right corner there's a currency switch.

Edit: I was slow. :P

But did you check the currency?

EDIT: Okay... why isn't everybody at work or playing games instead of GOG forums.

I am at work. That doesn't mean I'm constantly working, or even working most of the time. There's quite a bit of downtime, which I spend on GOG. Walk to a computer, push a few buttons, go back to my machine and wait for thing to be done, see that it's not, wait for someone to come and ask for help, do what needs to be done, then check if thing I started earlier is done (it's not), downtime again... repeat.

By the way, you can select the currency you prefer in your account https://www.gog.com/account/settings/personal or in the footer of store pages. GOG adjusts their exchange rates manually, but it's not done daily so there may be some small difference between eur and usd prices (Edit: for games that are not regionally priced, of course...).

I just love the underlying implicit notion all this kind of threads tend to have, by which the OP is the only smart ass around to have noticed whatever is claimed to be wrong.

I don't see a reason for your provocative attitude.

I don't see a reason for the OP outright accusing GOG of "stupid policies" either, especially when it's obvious that the OP didn't bother to check the facts before posting.

But in any case, did the OP really think that if GOG actually performed this kind of shady practices, nobody would have noticed it before? Really?

I see. Despite OP's mistake being corrected hours ago, you need to show how infallible and superior you are. Go ahead, I'm not gonna interfere any more.
