Xeshra: No, there is countless of peoples unable to get them... and in many cases just because "to less income".
Of course US and UK is another story, if you pay them on time your income may not matter there.
Of course, if they WANT something from you then you are always able to get guilt but if YOU take something from them... you are not always allowed to have guilt.
Not that i enjoy a guilt based system at all... however, this is the way how capitalism works. You use money you actually do not even own, in order to make even more money... fun stuff and almost no one find it weird.
Whats actually most fun: On some Online-shops i do have a bigger creditworthiness (called "Bonität in our country) than any of the banks are willing to hand out. Yet... some of those banks handing me out nothing are the mother of corruption... this is the harsh reality. The amount does not even matter that much but you need to be "allowed".
Hey, you do you; I've got no problem with that. Perhaps Switzerland is different to other developed countries and perhaps people with jobs there find it harder to get a credit card. However, I stand by my recommendation that people that are capable of budgeting and don't spend money they don't have are best off using a credit card.
I gave OP this advice after answering his question.
I'm not interested in having a political discussion with you about banks or capitalism - this isn't the place for that.
