Welcome to our jolly dystopia.

We Happy Few, the stylish action/adventure about escaping a city of oppressive happiness, is now available for pre-order 15% off, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Did you take your happiness pill today? Please try not to skip on your regular doses, otherwise you might start hallucinating and seeing things that shouldn't be there. Like derelict houses dressed in colourful banners. People jumping off London Bridge with a smile painted on their faces. Violent acts against those who refuse to always look on the bright side of life.
You are not seeing any of that, are you? Because if so, you better run, hide, or quickly take your Joy with a nice cup of tea.
Fast.
Before we find you and feed it to you.

Note: Owners of the In Development version do not need to purchase the game again.
You should've seen my avatar before I changed it to Marquis de Hoto.

Pre Order ? No fucking way !

I will pay no more than 5 dollars for this and everything i have seen so far seem so shallow the world, mechanics, characters you name it.

We Barebones Few might be worth a try 10 years from now who knows.

HereForTheBeer: I always thought it came near the top of the glass.

nightcraw1er.488: Excuse yourself all you like lightweight :op
Generally speaking it comes in the first 5-10 glasses (depending on size and quality of course), after that its the good old days, then the melancholy...
Haha - well, getting to the bottom of the glass means it's empty. And that is not a state of happiness. ; )

Damn, now you got me wanting a shot of sippin' tequila.
I only ask that this game not be like Hello Neighbor.
Well, it's generally regarded as "The Brexit Game" So no wonder some are having to pay more for it .

;P

But the price is a bit too much. I think I'll wait until there's a decent reduction before buying it.

moonshineshadow: $73.99 o.O
No. No way.
Somebody didn't take their Joy. lol
Glad to see it's finally out of EA/InDev, though the price is pretty steap, I'll wait 'til it comes down to a 50% (Original indie price) before I snag it though! I'll need something to get the bitter taste of MMOs out of my mouth that E3/NEXT brought me!
Sorry but I lost any and all faith in this project once Randy Bitchford got his shit-stained hands all over it.

Have you seen the recent trailer? Actually looks pretty badass right now.

Yup and i can't honestly say i liked anything but that's just me, i hate it but i'm usually very harsh on games and more often than not can't find anything to be excited over.
After the "Gearbox incident" when devs surprised (in a very bad way) all with the announcement of the publisher and the much higher price and all that came around (oh, it's because the console disks...they are very expensive, and no fair for them if the PC players paid just 28 euros so let's get it a "bit" higher...) i will buy it, someday, with about 85% discount, no less.

:P
I backed it.

I've really enjoyed what I've played of it, although, I've purposly limited my playtime to not get burned out on it before actual release.

I'm more nervous of what this means for the promised Linux version than I am the promised DRM free version.
So is this a different game from before they pulled it from the stores?

Trailers lie and deceive.
