404, peace not found.

Warhammer 40K: Gladius - Relics of War Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order 10% off, DRM-free on GOG.com.
When the imperials unearthed a bunch of ancient relics on Gladius Prime, they unwittingly set off a bloody chain of events. An ancient horror now stirs beneath the colonies and the planet soon turns into a chaotic, turn-based arena of brutal conflict between the Astra Militarum, the Orks, the Necrons, and the Space Marines. Face friends or AI opponents in the first 4X turn-based strategy set in the Warhammer 40K universe, and make Gladius your field of glory.
Who was working on the Linux version for it? It doesn't seem to be Feral (who avoid releasing on GOG), even though they ported Total War: Warhammer.

I generally don't buy games at release since I have such a backlog. Witcher 3 was an exception that I did pre-order. I'm tempted to pre-order this because of the Linux support.

Agreed. It is nice to see a new release on GOG that is coming with Linux on launch day.
A 4X game that looks like Civ5 (hexagonal grid). Not bad so far. Even better, with a science fiction background (well, WH4K).

Will it beat, lets say, Pandora: First Contact? Lovers of the Warhammer 4K setting will find a plus for them.
Oh yeah! Was waiting for it since I saw the first stream.
A 4X WH 40k ? oO

*reads the description*

I do not think that is a 4x "Exploit" definition you have there...

I feel exploited in a not 4x way :P

It's one of those games(the 2-nd I know of) (renown) Devs do their devving on Linux. (it's the most native Linux game you can get out there)

Edit:
- (correct me if I'm wrong) also, Gladius is the 1st Linux game published by Slitherine.
- also, there are indications Stardock will go Linux(for the first time) with Star Control: Origins...

Edit2: So see you later, I guess?

A Warhammer game on GOG with Linux support? Now that's an offer I can hardly refuse :-)
Oooh, looks nice! Are there any plans to add more factions later on, like in a DLC?
Damn GOGs invasion brought a Warp storm that cut off our Emperor's light...to my purse :(
Please let this game be good Slitherine !

I long for some fucking Necron campaign and with DoW 3 being shit i need a good new Warhammer game.
Eldar for a DLC, maybe?

What other factions would you like to see in this game first?
No preorders.

But otherwise wishlisted :)

Mechanicum.
That would be a no-brainer for me - Ad-Mech and Collegia Titanica.
