Pre-Order? Not "In Developement"?
Nice. Kind of being hoping to see this one come here. Looks great on youtube so far.

Still not going to preorder at that price point and risk it to be a possible flop.

Edit: Gog team please fix the gamecard. The game will not be available for Mac. Its only planned for Windows and no other announcement has been made yet.

Is it wrong that my first thought was Orbán Empire ?

The game looks interesting though, will keep an eye on it.
Menagerial city-builder. You can have all my yawns. As a pre-order bonus.
high rated
Kalypso? 5 DLCs within half a year then bundled as a Gold Edition, 2 more DLCs, defnitive Gold Edition, expansion pass, Platinium Edition, ultimate skins pack + new scenarios, GOTY Edition and then 95% discount. Urban planning FTW :D
Looks like it could actually be educational. Which probably explains the textbook-like pricing. ;)
Looks interesting. But certainly not as a pre-order for $50.
It sounds like you pick from a ruling family. I assume you stick with them through the whole game. Are they at all customisable?

Rarely does a political game catch my attention and Urban Empire really sparked my interest. The second video is very helpful with all these details provided by the devs, but the high price point means I'll have to wait a bit (or a lot) before I get my hands to it, provided it is a good game of course.
Is this more like the totally-unfun Democracy games, or something else? I'm tempted, but not that tempted right now. Blues? Any more info?
What would be a better price?
Looks like The Guild in modern times.
About: Pre-purchase Urban Empire now and experience the early stages of urban architecture with the Half Timbered Building Pack.
The Half Timbered Building Pack contains 7 unique buildings from times before 1820 and brings some oldschool style and tradition to your very own Urban Empire.
Exclusive or future DLC?
I thought it was Urban Umpire at first, and envisioned some kind of street baseball game from the hood. :)
