Sorry Obsidian\Paradox, i love the genre and gameplay but You don't translate in my language, without subtitles too so, why should I buy your games.

when Obsidian understand that to increase sales must translate it will never be too late, for the moment good bye.

Dear GOG,

Is this game going to follow the same poor fate as Pillars of Eternity? By that I mean the lack of upgrade paths between the 3 editions. Might I remind you that as it (still) currently stands, upgrading from Hero or Champion edition of PoE means buying the game twice (and paying twice the amount one would on Steam).

So what I'm saying here, for example: Should I decide to pay 55 Euro for the Archon Edition of Tyranny, then I'd have to pay another 74 Euro to get the Overlord Extras, which equals to buying the game a second time, ignoring the fact that you already own it.

It is sad to say that this mess up is only on GOG, Steam has upgrades paths for Pillars of Eternity where you only have to pay for the missing DLC's not buying the game a second time to get access to the DLC. And please avoid telling me that it's not possible, there's plenty of other games with DLC's and extras.

Finally, as you're probably aware, I've been mentioning this for months and you never said a word about it, not even a how or why and that has left me with a bad taste.

I've been bitten once and I assure you I won't buy this game fearing this might happen a second time.

Kind Regards.

I suppose I should play Pillars of Eternity first to see if I even like how they do these games. Not that it seems all that different from a dozen other Diablo-style loot-em-ups.

This is not a diablo style game. It's inspired by infinity engine games like Baldur's Gate, Torment, etc.
You control several characters at a time and there's a lot of dialogue.

It's not like hack'n slash diablo likes. It's an RPG game.

It had a page but you couldn't pay for it.
Why isn't this just 39,99€? Are the additional 2€ really necessary? :/

Anyway, don't know jack about this so it's better to wait the release.

Wow, also, what the fuck is this shit with those editions? Ringtones?

Seriously?

Guys wouldn't you be better off at the market selling trinkets?

Geez...

I was massively disappoint when I found out you play an underling in this game, not the overlord. Still, out of Obsidian/inXile games of the post-kickstarter era, this looks the most interesting.

("exclusive" is such a Shkreli word I can't even)

(I love how magic is color-coded in this game)

The Overlord edition link has an extra space and is broken.

Completely agree with every word you said. The main reason I haven't bought Pillars yet is due to the complete lack of upgrade options.

I bought the Royal Edition of Pillars of Eternity and in my opinion you're better off buying a cheaper edition.

Ah, thanks. It had seemed from the screenshots to be an isometric action RPG. Glad to hear there is more to it.

GOG.com: (...)
Pre-order bonus for any of the three editions: the Fatebinder's Seal and the Commander's Will.
Whose idea was that kind of bullshit? Instead of giving us a good discount, they´ve decided to cut something off.
Seriously, Paradox or Obsidian: There are other options. Make it little bit more expensive on default, so the discount brings it down to the current price. BUT: Don´t do bullshit!
