Master of puppets.

Shadows: Awakening is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 20% discount plus the game's Soundtrack and Artbook as pre-order bonuses.
Return to the world of the Heretic Kingdoms as the Devourer, a demon able to consume and control the souls of long-dead heroes for his own purposes. As you conquer the dungeons of this dark isometric action/RPG, a fateful choice will emerge: will you use your formidable powers to prevent the world from coming undone, or will you facilitate its downfall?

GR00T: If it works like the pre-order, there should be a placeholder entry in your library though. If that's not in Loger13's library yet, I'd suggest it's just a matter of GOG rolling it out in waves.

@Loger13: yeah, I'd wait a few more days (not sure if anything will happen over the weekend, so give it some time into next week). See if anything shows up then.
No placeholder for me yet either. Like you say though, hopefully it'll show up sometime next week.
I hope they fixed the terrible combat from the first game. Going from what is shown in the trailer they haven't improved the view distance. It'll be fine as long as they sorted the combat. It sucked because the characters were really good in this game. The Devourer especially. The combat just ruined it though.
thanks devs and gog.
I am happy that second part is finally here.
Has anyone who is eligible for the free update got a placeholder in their library yet?
Since those who own Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms will receive Shadows: Awakening for free, it would be nice if they offered the first game for free with the preorder of the second, in any case no one will ever buy it again and you could try it waiting for the final version.
Here's to patiently awaiting the release.

Pajama: Has anyone who is eligible for the free update got a placeholder in their library yet?
Maybe they're just going to add it when it's released. I'd have thought there'd be a placeholder though. Or perhaps they're going to add it as bonus content on your S:HK library entry. Have you tossed a message to Support? I assume from Beatrice Elysia's post above that they'll answer questions about it.
Just heard back from support and it seems that the game should appear for download automatically to all eligible accounts once the game is released. As it's not technically a preorder then there will be no place holder.

Thanks GR00T for the nudge to contact support :)

Not sure waht you mean by "placeholder".
If you mean getting the game for free, then no not yet.

I realize your query has been answered, but just to clarify this bit: if you pre-order a game, you'll get an entry in your library which is basically just a blank game card. When you click on it there are no links, since the game's not released yet, and if there are any goodies included, you just see a list of what they will be with 'coming soon' in brackets.

Thank you for explaining. :)
Does anyone know if the people who get the game for free when it's released also get the preorder items (artbook and OST)?

I would love to have a confirmation from GOG about that.

Update:
I got the confirmation of GOG's Support today.
A free copy of the Shadows Awakening comes with the artbook and the OST for eligable users upon the game's release. :)

Not only do we get the game, but the bouns items with it!
Thank you, developers and GOG. :D

Symphony8: I read the title as Paster of Muppets. I imagined a totally different game.
I'd play it.

Start a megachurch, lead people to a higher power, rob them blind as you buy private jets or hell just turn it into your own personal cult.

Like Dungeon Keeper or The Escapists or something, but instead of people, muppets.

Someone needs to make this happen.

(Yes I realize that's not how you spell it, but close enough!)

paladin181: So... When will I know if I need to buy this or not, since I own Heretic Kingdoms and Inquisition?
Heads up to owners of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. Check your library/order history for Shadows: Awakening. I got mine about 5 hours ago.
