19LuckyLuke99: Your loss tbh.

Anime-BlackWolf: Nope. THEIR loss (=sale). I don't need to buy their games (have spent too much in the last months, so good thing), they need my money to make further games. Quite simple maths.
You can't be pleased. You are *** because SS4 came and you would be *** if SS4 didn't come to GOG.

And what about Serious Sam 3? :'(
Now this is exciting! I hope for the other games in the series too.

MyLife4Night: AAAAAAAAAH Yourself :D
This made me laugh again! :D

And I hope like everyone else that the other releases show up here as well! :)
I wish they went back to their earlier Cartoonish design instead of this ugly generic shooter look they now seem to be using.

19LuckyLuke99: The reason why they won't release Serious Sam 2 on Gog though is unclear. It's most likely because Serious Sam 2's code is a mess so they don't want to touch it, they aren't touching the Steam version either since 2016.
Most likely because of the coming remake of Serious Sam 2, sometime in the future. They said they wanted to redo Serious Sam 2 in order to make sense and not just be Serious Sam on drugs.

Though they haven't specified at all, just that they want to eventually do it, I guess they no longer want to bother with the black sheep of the family.

19LuckyLuke99: If CT wants to add all those games to Gog they would have to carefully extract all steamworks code from SS2, SS3 and SSHD. While it's possible for SS2 it's very hard to do for SS3 and SSHD which are very steamworks dependent.
Or VERY carefully apply a crack :P. Even though I have SS3 on Steam, I use mostly my pirated version which works perfectly fine without all the Steam shennanigans.

To be perfectly fair, yes they need money to make further game; but no, it doesn't need to come from you. Don't be a narcissist dude.

Without immortal scorpion bullshit they've put as an anti-piracy measure?

MartiusR: Sadly, this may be the case. Steam version has this stupid bug with making your game's profile broken, which makes also your save game files corrupted and force you to start from the beginning. And it wasn't fixed up to this day.

A real shame, I've played in both SS2 and SS3, both are actually quite fun experience (despite extremely weird graphic style in SS2 and "technically poor" SS3), I would buy them instantly on GOG.

19LuckyLuke99: The only fix I found about that is to press No for profile deletion and then go to new profile, write the same name you had and then you should be able to continue from load game or by clicking Continue Playing button. It sometimes works.
If I remember correctly, I've tried this solution in the past (sadly, it didn't work in my case). I gave up after losing for the third (or fourth) time game progress. A shame though, because I would recommend SS2 even for those, who don't like its weird graphic style - under that weird skin there is really entertaining FPS.
A step in the right direction, however the lack of the previous games in the series (and The Talos Principle) is off putting. I would really like to buy the First and Second encounter HD remakes.

Yes. I have 81 hours played on Serious Sam 3 on Steam, but probably double or triple that if I count in the playtime of the pirated version.

Eh, replayed SS3 this year on Steam. I personally wouldn't spend so much time on that game, but it's good to know there is a DRM-free version out there:D

Every time I find myself short on FPS games and need a fix, Serious Sam 3 is my go to. So yeah, it adds up :P

Still excited that 4 is coming to GOG. Can't wait.

DIdn't even know they were making this. Cool.
Croteam has contact info here - try using press at croteam dot com (that's worked previously for me) - if you're interested in contacting them about GOG releases for their other games, or whatever. (I'm personally okay with features on Steam missing from GOG releases but I understand if not everyone feels that way; I'd like Serious Sam 2 here even though I already own it on Steam.)

Wow, so excited for this! This is one of the very few series I would ever even consider buying on Steam, and it's always a tough decision.

Now that I can order it on GOG, it's a no-brainer to preorder the Deluxe edition! My only worry now is whether my computer can run it...
