No Man's Sky a science-fiction game set in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy, is available to pre-order now — DRM-free on GOG.com

Intergalactic travel changes the notion of time. Unimaginable speeds connect impossibly distant worlds, dilating lifetimes, blending generations. A round-trip may find your world aged and unrecognizable, separated from your loved ones, irrevocably alien. In an intergalactic society, only the few set off towards the stars — explorers, those unafraid and with nothing to lose. They set off never to come back as far as our lifetimes are concerned. And thus, we still look up at an infinite sky, now within our reach, yet still untouched — a no man's land, a No Man's Sky.

No Man's Sky promises discovery of an infinite, uncharted universe. Its billions of stars, planets, unknown living creatures, breathtaking sights and lonely wastelands — all seamlessly connected — populated with explorers drawn to the distant mysteries of the horizon, eager to leave a permanent mark in their wake.
The frontier is merciless and dangerous. Exposed to a universe of extremities in your fragile suit and ship, you'll need resources and upgrades to get far — as well as the means stand your ground in fight.
Whether you journey to the center of it all or seek out the farthest reaches of existence, the trip will not be simple or dull. You'll catalogue things unseen, discover alien artifacts and reveal mysteries of the universe. If you survive.

The pre-order incentive for No Man's Sky includes the Horizon Omega ship — faster engines, better guns, all to kickstart your trip and help you survive longer on the interstellar journey.

Reach out and touch the No Man's Sky, available for pre-orders now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The game is scheduled to be released on June 21st in North America, June 22nd in Europe and Australia, and June 24th in the UK and Rest of World.
The pre-order bonus is pretty retarded. "If you pre-order now, the can use this ship which will make the game easier". How is that an incentive exactly?

budejovice: Looks great, glad to see it's coming to GOG. The staggered release is interesting...
So is the regional pricing, and not in a positive way.

Looks great, sounds great, but comes with a few too many "no noes" for me. As adaliabooks said, perhaps some time down the road...
I'd rather go with Star Citizen, but good for GOG as Star Citizen will not use resellers according to them.
Amazing to see this here.... thank you hellogames and gog...

For those that want to know more...

All your questions will be answered.... Mostly.

Also... There's not really multiplayer in the traditional sense. It's more like a interactive wiki database and you'll likely never see another player in the wild.

following this game for years and never dreamed gog would get this on release.

PLEASE..don't let steam get updates before gog does. Keep the updates on parity.

Amazing!!
Anyway, light-years beyond my computer specs, so my purchase will have to wait...

I'm still not convinced Star Citizen will ever be a finished thing.
This one's been hyped up a lot.

Looks like it won't be long to see if the actuals match the tellings. Can't wait to find out..

If it's good I might buy it - it seems like my type of game; although I'm not sure I would pay that much on a new release - it has to be really good; otherwise, await a sale. So, we'll see..

I don't pre-order (especially a top-dollar kickstarter) - but I do look forward to the release.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Different strokes I guess. I won't be using the ship, but I'd say this is a way better incentive than pre-order exclusive missions or something.

Sounds annoyingly close to some sort of "pre-order to win" model.
NO WAY YOU HAVE THIS

I thought this was PS4 exclusive?

katya_stevens: I'm seeing zero regional pricing for me: £39.99 ($57.89 if I switch to USD prices).

I'll echo on the waiting for reviews, which will be easy for me considering the staggered release dates
"$7.10 OFF ANY FUTURE PURCHASE. You get bonus store credit (our Fair Price Package) to offset the regional pricing." (my price would be $67.09).
Yay for yet another space game :-) but this one has one thing that sticks a big poison thorn in my eye: the ship the player pilots :-( A parked ship with the engines going full blast?!?! The ship flying like an airplane?!!!!!! No no no no, you Fail your physics class. The exploring planets part might be nice but not convinced of it.

Breja: Pre-order my ass.

Wait, that came out wrong.

sasuke12: lol lol

But yes I will wait for the reviews first.
Shallow and easy, Breja's ass has little to offer for the hardcore players. - Rock, Paper, Shotgun
Instantly hit the buy button the moment I saw this in my Email. There is no game I want more than No Man's Sky. I am already a backer for Star Citizen, but that one won't have a seriously playable build yet for a good while. And even when it does, it won't have exploration that lets you discover new worlds. For that, we have No Man's Sky.
It looks really, although the price is bit steep.
