No Man's Sky a science-fiction game set in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy, is available to pre-order now — DRM-free on GOG.com

Intergalactic travel changes the notion of time. Unimaginable speeds connect impossibly distant worlds, dilating lifetimes, blending generations. A round-trip may find your world aged and unrecognizable, separated from your loved ones, irrevocably alien. In an intergalactic society, only the few set off towards the stars — explorers, those unafraid and with nothing to lose. They set off never to come back as far as our lifetimes are concerned. And thus, we still look up at an infinite sky, now within our reach, yet still untouched — a no man's land, a No Man's Sky.

No Man's Sky promises discovery of an infinite, uncharted universe. Its billions of stars, planets, unknown living creatures, breathtaking sights and lonely wastelands — all seamlessly connected — populated with explorers drawn to the distant mysteries of the horizon, eager to leave a permanent mark in their wake.
The frontier is merciless and dangerous. Exposed to a universe of extremities in your fragile suit and ship, you'll need resources and upgrades to get far — as well as the means stand your ground in fight.
Whether you journey to the center of it all or seek out the farthest reaches of existence, the trip will not be simple or dull. You'll catalogue things unseen, discover alien artifacts and reveal mysteries of the universe. If you survive.

The pre-order incentive for No Man's Sky includes the Horizon Omega ship — faster engines, better guns, all to kickstart your trip and help you survive longer on the interstellar journey.

Reach out and touch the No Man's Sky, available for pre-orders now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The game is scheduled to be released on June 21st in North America, June 22nd in Europe and Australia, and June 24th in the UK and Rest of World.
When I heard of this game, I though we'd never see it here. Wish listed and will be bought as soon as we have money in the bank.
I was certain it was not going to be DRM-free so I was certain I wasn't going to play it, even though I want to.
I don't know if I will pre order it yet, but I can guarantee you I am going to buy it from GOG.
Thank you for bringing it here.

Question, any idea if there is going to be an offline version/option?

Have we had a release with a regional roll-out like that before?

Thank you so much for this GoG and Publisher / Developer of No Man's Sky.

Since it's all multiplayer, I doubt DRM is a big deal. The multiplayer service will be DRMed up to the nines.

Looks great, glad to see it's coming to GOG. The staggered release is interesting...

Two things: I never expected to see this on DRM free on launch and boy, that's expensive.
Yay! I was interested in the game but kinda meh about buying it on PS4 or Steam... Will be purchasing now, on GOG. Keep it up! Would love to see more big releases like this!
Nice catch, GOG! Unlikely to preorder, but will probably buy if it's good.

Yep, nearly 60 Euros for a beta test version is extremely expensive. It`s good that my PC can`t handle it, so I don`t even have to think about buying it! :D
$60 is a bit steep for me on a game i'm not sure can deliver on its promises, but I can't deny that this is a huge get for gog. Good to see it here.
Pre-order my ass.

Wait, that came out wrong.

Yup, the DRM-free release is going to feature the full set of online features and all, but you'll also be able to play it offline. :)

Nope, this is a first. I'm pretty sure this is meant to coincide with brick-and-mortar release dates.
