dtgreene: So maybe I should wait until Wet Dreams Dry Twice actually gets released and *then* ask the question again?
It'd probably be better than hoping someone remembers roughly 2 months from now.
I meant to reply to this a while back.

I'm looking forward to the new game, but I'm a little bit concerned considering how the last game was presented.

"Wet Dreams Don't Dry" had a rushed (and out of place ending) and lacked important elements of the LSL series such as the great character animation, Easter eggs/hidden dialogues, and the iconic "face to face" interactions with each love interest.

Overall it was a decent game (aside from the ending), but it honestly seemed like the developers weren't familiar with the series at all.

Though, I'm glad to see they released a "Happy Ending Edition" epilogue update, so I'll check that out while waiting for the new game to release.
The release has been postponed from Oct. 15 to Oct. 23.

Would have been nice to get a warning before the countdown ran to 0 yesterday afternoon and then was reset by 8 days. Now I prepared beer and tissue paper for nothing. ;-P

Why the artwork in the banner and in game looks different? IT felt like it was drawn with vector drawing software. I miss the original hand drawn cartoony style of old Larry games.

TheBigCore: Leisure Suit Larry himself looks kinda pathetic if you ask me. That must be the whole joke of this series.
And you just realized that just now? That's pretty much the entire premise of LSL series. A very overconfidence man trying to get laid. That's it. The original version is much more merciless, with him being way shorter and a bit rounder in the abdomen.

pippin15: Well, it is. It's a hopeless dude trying to score. According to Al Lowe the games usted to have a sizeable female audience because they thought the whole premise was "endearing" in a way.

Larry is supposed to be this kind of guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_sFafClcUk
"A Maserati in a world of Kias", I love that one.

This reminds me when there were live concerts.

We can have live concerts again in 2021 or 2022 it's not like the epidemic don't have a vaccine or anything. Try comparing that to black plague that linger for 10 years with no vaccine.

LOL using normies unironically. This is not 2010 anymore grandpa.

Swedrami: Done.
Hope this eventually turns into a trilogy at least.
If we count CrazyBunch's Larrys as canon, then this would be the 8th main installment in the series and could be referred to as Leisure Suit Larry 9. Trilogy? I want to play LSL26 when I am old.

ciemnogrodzianin: Any hope for Leisure Suit Larry IV remastered?
Ooooh! That's actually a brilliant idea! I know you're joking, but that actually could work with the reboot!

Leisure Suit Larry IV: The Missing Floppies - Remastered

Either as a standalone prequel kinda thing for this reboot. Or somehow tie it to the beginning of Wet Dreams Don't Dry. Since Larry has "no memory" of what happened in LSL4, you could make strange plot twists and time travels that end him up in the beginning of Wet Dreams Don't Dry.
