Ganni1987: EDITED:
Just compared the GOG and Steam versions, apparently both stores will get their own unique skins. For me That is more than enough reason to not buy the game, thanks for saving me €36, unless all content is available I won't ever buy this game even on a discount. Less content is unacceptable in my book.
For comparison, this is what the Steam version is offering:
1) Roti, Ajna's loveable pet Tapir, will follow you in game as you quest to save the world of Loka!
2)
Exclusively for Steam preorders, players will unlock character skins in the theme of timeless Valve games like Half-Life, Portal and Team Fortress 2! A Portal Companion Cube also awaits in game to make sure you never get lonely...is there cake too? Or is it a lie?
3) Additional cosmetic character recolor skins
1 and 3 are apparently the same for both stores,
2 is where the exclusivity is and they even made a picture for it:

Ah, this reminds me of good old, Darksiders 2, THQ era launch! Different stores would give out different DLC, with preordering the game, back then! It was enough for me to cancel the preorder, of the collector's edition at that; which wasn't even the complete version of the game!
Few years later and post THQ's bankruptchy/demise, 20 bucks during a gog sale, earned me both Darksiders 1 legacy version and darksiders 2, with all DLC pack! Fewer years later, Deathinitive for free as a gift and Warmastered, with a special, less than 5 bucks discount!
Indeed! The most stupid marketing decision, like, ever! Mutilating into pieces and scattering them all, across different retailers/distributors/vendors! Well, at least, only cosmetics differe here and not game content that matters. Still, though, i agree and jump on this train.
