There's something strange in the neighborhood...

Hello Neighbor, an unsettling stealth/horror experience about infiltrating your creepy neighbor's house, is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Looks at this guy. There is something up with him, you just know it. If only you could sneak into his basement and investigate.
But be careful: Every distraction, trick, or access point you try will soon be countered by the adaptive AI, so you need to be smart and quick if you want to uncover all his secrets without becoming one of them...

Pre-order now and get immediate access to the game's playable early builds.
These will appear under Backups & Goodies in your library.

Want a free taste? Try the demo!

Watch the trailer.

tinyBuild? The same tinyBuild that never update their games here? So all I'll be looking forward to is a buggy game that gets a few patches here and there and then stops? No level editor either?

No thanks - maybe if they gave us the same treatment as Steam I'd consider it, but at this point no.
clearly you want to go in when he sleeps

I hope it does not become a new trend to put 4MB GIFs on the game pages. The site is slow enough to load already.
The 90s are dead, stop using GIFs

I'm surprised to see how many main stream sites uses GIF, I personally hate them.

However, real excited to see this game coming here, I had assumed it would be a Steam Exclusive.

Given tinyBuild's awful history on this site and the still-missing DLC for Party Hard, why would I ever pre-order a new game from them? There's a decent chance it will end up missing features and/or updates, either at release or in the future.

Another Early Access/Paid Beta pos game and with regional discriminating price on top of that.
On the one hand, tinybuild has a baaaaaaaaad track record when it comes to gog. And 30 bux isn't exactly small fries either. On the other hand, this looks so right up my alley it's hard to put in words.

Decisions...

I think ill pass. The developer on top of that is one of the lazy ones in regards to patches for gog.

You should save your money in my opinion . Unfinished games are bound to change . And the change can be good or bad and you can get something entirely different than that what you wanted. And there is no guarantee that the game will be
finished and dont forget the bad reputation of the Developer in regard to patches and updates.
To me it looks like the creepy neighbour is the player...
It's not my personal cup of tea, but it is interesting as I thought this may have been going towards been a Steam exclusive.
How come rating is enabled for this pre-order?

Edit: I see... it's because it's actually a game in development.

GOG.com: Constantly evolving experience where the Neighbor's AI counters your moves, and learns from what you do
Tell me about it! As I was running away from the neighbor, I managed to jump over a barricade he had put up in his backyard. The AI noticed that there was no way it was going to make that jump, so instead it decided to clip right through the barricade T-1000 style. Seriously next-gen stuff! ;P

Gog, for your own sake and the game's, please rename the demo to "Pre-Alpha Build" or something along those lines. Something that would be a more fair description, because demos usually ought to represent the finished product. This demo is, hopefully, in no way indicative of the level of polish to be expected from the final game. There is all sorts of weirdness going on, a lot of it walks on a fine line between "it's a bug" and "it's a feature". I honestly can't tell. As it stands, this plays like the "Goat Simulator" of stealth games (that's some potential ad-blurb right there!).

Come release day, I'd be interested to play a "proper" demo. Because what I just played felt less like a $30 game and more like a $3 nice-idea-but-could-use-some-serious-work indie on Desura.

Words of wisdom. I'm still intrigued by this, so let's see where this goes.
Gonna skip this tbh a lot of bad things about updates and other things to boot. sorry gog not this time :/
