Beware the Black Death, destroyer of kingdoms.

Grand Ages: Medieval a global strategy game of war and economics, is available for pre-order now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 15% discount.

How do you feel about gameplay on a grand scale? Well, Grand Ages: Medieval is ready to tickle your fancy of grandeur. There are hundreds of settlements, and over 30,000,000 Square Kilometers of Europe, Africa, Middle East and Scandinavia - and when you zoom in on your local lumberjacks going about their day, the immensity of it all immediately hits home.
Grand Ages: Medieval is first and foremost a game of economics and city building. You'll start out with a lonely settlement to build up from scratch, while slowly building up trade networks and relationships with neighboring, up-and-coming kingdoms, just like yours. The goal? Total domination, obviously. But whether you set out to to achieve medieval superiority through trade and coin, or sword and shield - the choice is yours to make.

On top of the 15% discount, the pre-order comes with two in-game DLCs "Camelot" and "Ancient Wonders", as well as the original soundtrack!

Pre-order Grand Ages: Medieval now on GOG.com. The pre-order deal will last until the game's release.
When this game showed up on Steam back in October I was also expecting a Grand Ages Rome variant, love that game. Sadly not the case. I still like Kalypso trading games, so hoping for the best despite the name

IAmSinistar: Wow, looks like Banished on an epic scale.
Haha that's what I thought when I saw the screenshots; Banished & Anno 1404! :-)

Looks very nice but I don't think I can afford it right now. I'm already thinking if I should buy Kerbal Space Program (if there will be an encore - been waiting for so long for a discount on KSP) or spend the same amount of money to buy some other games from the sale that I'm interested in. Plus I would like to back Original Sin 2... Choices, choices...
Always like to check in for preorder announcements on Tuesdays since there aren't any more Tuesday releases. Wishlisted!

yyahoo: Minimum system requirements
Graphics: DirectX 10 compatible, 1 GB RAM, Geforce GTS450 or similar
DirectX: Version 11

So which is it? DX10 or DX11?
its not a contradiction. i guess devs just want make sure that you'll update dx 10 to 11 if you use vista. but your gfx have to support at least dx10.
We really need a GOG blue to answer re:DLC, because I refuse to pre-order and participate in a preorder scheme that excludes future buyers from content; I'd rather not have it than reinforce that villainy.

I'm still miffed that I am excluded from the Age of Wonders 3 "pre-order bonus scenario"...

If the DLC isn't pre-order-exclusive, I may just preorder.

Soon we'll need a "Where the Hell is Tuesday's Preorder?!?!?!" thread.

Incidentally, is this game truly flat-priced? Would be nice to add to that list if so.
Watching the How 2 Play trailer convinced me that I want this game. It's a bit pricey, though. Maybe I should wait for the summer sale 2016. Wishlisted, for now.
Somehow it's hard to believe that Kalypso really sells this game flat priced here. If it's not a bug and it stays this way, I'm going to pick it up.

I bet it'll be fixed soon. Steam prices indicate this is a bug.
Automatic building placement... what a complete turn-off. I know it's not supposed to be a city building game but still...

Why is this tagged 'Modern' on the gamecard?
It looks like Kalypso is pretty much fully on board with GOG now. Nice!
