Exile on pain street.

Dead in Vinland is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Exiled from your village. A family disgraced. No time for despair, though. Time to roll up your sleeves and make a new home for yourselves on this strange island. Survive the hardships, manage everyday tasks, explore, interact with its curious inhabitants and face a savage foe. RPG mechanics meet non-linear storytelling in a dramatic tale shaped by your own harsh decisions.

Ixamyakxim: Doh! I was going to start harrassing you for impressions ;)
Yeah, I figured as much and answered accordingly! But Dead in Bermuda is free, though you have to install origin first...
This saga looks like it's got lots of banners.

Hahaha...that's the story of my Origin-account.
I only log in, to add another freebie to it, but I never actually play 'em. ;o)

Yeah other than Dragon age Inquisition, Mirror's edge, mass effect and Crysis series I pretty much collect the freebies!
It looks appealing to me, wishlisted. But can someone pleeeease help these indies with the teaser videos... they make me angry. Better to not do one.

Well, Dead in Bermuda is offered as a free game with Origin, so you can give it a go right now if you want; though I'd still buy it on gog as DRM free games are better than Free DRM'd games! ;)
thought the setting and even character placement looked really familiar, thought it was a case of deja vu, lol forgot i had this on origin

not my kind of game but as far as this genre goes it was better than others, found it mildly amusing and pretty fair in gameplay, meaning not full of insta death traps that you couldnt avoid

Cool, looks like I'll give it a go; I hope they release it to gog though!
This game looks great. Reminds me a lot of The Banner Saga in terms of some of the art design. I love it.

Wishlisted, though I'm tempted just to score it and take a chance.

I must say I was thrown off when I saw CCCP, because my first reaction was that the makers of EVE Online were dabbling in something different, but that's CCP ;D. It's so close, and it was honestly just a split second mistake, hehe.

I literally just put up Dead in Vinland a couple days ago on the community wishlist after playing Dead in Beremuda (free on Origin). It's a fun management/survival sim. Vinland seems better. I thought it was already out. I guess the free promo on Origin is to drum up interest in Vinland. It worked for me at least. Glad to see this on GoG! They should also pick up Dead in Bermuda though.

Crosmando: Looks like it's very Darkest Dungeon inspired
Sold. I could use some more DD goodness :)

Same actually.

Anyone knows anything about plans for Linux support?

There's only one post on Steam forums regarding Linux support that I could find:
link (steam)

EDIT: I have found some more fresh info regarding Linux support here (reddit)

Thanks! So there seems to be bad new (looks like no chances for Linux release) and good news (game built on Unity, so it should work fine under Wine).
This looks fantastic. Hopefully this will be the character driven Viking game I was hoping the Banner Saga ones to be.

I agree with the others that Dead in Bermuda should be on GOG as well.
April's going to be a busy one for me. First I had Frostpunk, but also [redacted] and now this!

Might leave God of War til Christmas along with the other big exclusives coming up. Not sure why I'm telling you all this... nobody reads my stuff anyway lol.
