They should have called this "Action 35".
"Physical edition also confirmed"

"new arcade machines, with over 35 to choose from, inspired by a generation of Arcade games from the 80s and 90s. Arcade Paradise will feature newly created ‘classics’ such as Knuckles and Knees, Zombat 2, Woodgals Adventure, Vostok 2093, Gravichase and the bodacious Racer Chaser in FULL 3D and many more."

"more arcadeee!!!"

If you play the video (I think it's thr second one) on the store page thumbnails/ screenshots, the game titles scroll up. Just pause the video (space) before they scroll off to read them.
Oh neat, it's public domain covers of all the arcade games most people would think are too old to play in the first place. (Time Mark 3:50.)

I recall reading somewhere that the optimal deposit ratio for an arcade machine was 1 token every three minutes.

Now keeping in mind that these games have been considered absolutely quaint since around the SNES days, what particular twist is being brought to mind with these titles?

The greatest gaming era ever

Hello 90’s. If you could smell this game, it would smell like memories. Everything from the look and feel of the arcades, to using the latest PC connected to the mind-blowing dial-up connection, all have been recreated with pure love.
LMFAO.

Not only are the titles on display completed anachronistic with no regard to actual era, but the titles even include things which never had ports to the arcade in the first place!

And more simply, the 90s was the death knell for most arcades (except in Japan) as the systems at home made massive strides not only in simple reproduction but also producing games which would be logistically uncomfortable to complete at a cabinet. What, you gonna sit down and play Final Fantasy IV in some stranger's laundromat?

There also was hardly anyone who was into the hobby locally, you typically got called a nerd (if not worse), and there was a non-zero chance your parents and the media hated it, barely enough people had the internet to form proper fandoms, and your only helpline was a copy of Nintendo power your parents weren't going to pay for. Also you were paying though the nose for what was basically a lottery.

Congratulations, you bought a copy of Sqoon, a mediocre sidescrolling shooter by Home Data.

I love arcade games. Grew up with them. Wish arcade companies would sell their ROMs for use with emulators.
I wonder if those games are just filler or if they are good enough to be worth spending time on.

...the 90s was the death knell for most arcades
From the game's page:

Over 35 arcade games, each fully realized (*) with its own gameplay, stories, missions and high scores to set!
Inspired by 3 decades of gaming (**), from early vector games right up to the 32-bit era.

(*) "realized" means they made these games for this game. So, of course "these" games were never in the arcades.
(**) "Three decades (including the 90s)" expands the 90s somewhat, wouldn't you agree?
And even if the 90s themsleves were "the death knell" for Arcades...go ahead - play it that way.
Let your laundromat go bankrupt.

Seriously, I don't get what you're complaining about?
It's not as if they hide something.

And it's just a game (which contains other games inspired by "classics", for you to play - or not).
"The ultimate sim management arcade gaming mashup"

Sounds nice. Wishlisted and curious about it.
Funny trailer btw ("The Grind").

Even on the manager's PC one can play Solitaire, nice ^^

The E-Darts and the pool table, will they be playable too or just "furnitures"?
