Looks bloody brilliant, I'll buy it even though I don't have the guts to play it in a dark room at night with headphones. Can still try in small doses :p

Phin77: Why would pre-ordering be necessary for a digital download? Are they likely to run out?
Hi!
Well, pre-orders are digital and are not limited to a certain number of units. But they exist for various reasons, for example:
- Entry discount (10% Off, 20% Off, 30% Off...).
- Extras or exclusives that if not purchased in the pre-order you have to acquire them separately later.
And, sometimes it is more to produce hype in the community around a video game.

Majnun: Sweet. Just in time for Halloween!

§pectre: Have they improved the controls for these games to make use of motion sensing gamepads and headtracking or VR systems?
avatar
Majnun: It's not a VR game so why would you expect them to?
What is a "VR" game?
I mentioned superior controls because it suits these games and would differentiate it from there other products which are about 10+ years old.
I want it, seriously considering pre-ordering even though I hate to pay for something in advance. I wish I could *die* out of fear while playing this game.
looks interesting
One of the only two devs that have never disappointed me and whose game I will buy immediately. I adore Penumbra, Amnesia, Soma. I wish they sold VR versions, they’d be ideal, all that creeping, hiding, opening doors, shining torches.
Oh wow. I saw the name and expected it to be a remaster or something. An actual second Amnesia game made by Frictional? Awesome.

If games were done properly there shouldn't be a need for separate VR versions and they would work with a range of controls. At the very least modern games should be aimed at the 8bitdo, steampad, PS4 or 5 controllers instead of the 20 year old design of the xboxpad lacking touchpads and motion.

P.S or the Wii remote which would suit playing these games in the dark on a comfy seat.

This is something I will have to watch. I remember hoarding my tinderboxes in the first one.

All of which are merely incentives to get you to purchase a game BEFORE reviews come out... I'm just saying... Pre-orders used to be necessary due to limited stock.. Now days, it's a scam.. Lured with digital candy.
