The chronicle of the Third Era is about to be revealed!

Age of Wonders 3, the long-anticipated continuation to the fan-favorite, award-winning strategy series, set in a robust and beautiful world that becomes the scene for diverse, complex, and engaging gameplay, is available for pre-orders on GOG.com. Depending on your location you'll be charged $39.99 or the USD equivalent of £29.99, or €39.99. An extended Age of Wonders 3 - Deluxe Edition, featuring a full soundtrack and the Dragon's Throne standalone scenario, is available for $44.99, £34.99, or €44.99. As a special pre-order bonus, both versions include the Elven Resurgence, a standalone scenario DLC.

Imagine! Empires rising and falling before your very eyes, led to victory or defeat by heroes of legend so powerful that they appear to be titans in the eyes of mortals. Sorcerers harness the arcane powers to bend the rules of the world around them. Theocrats twist the wills of their followers with the holy aura bestowed upon them by their deities for their zealous service. Rogues rule the shadows, taking any chance to strike and win before their foes even realize there is a war to fight. Warlords earn the loyalty of their legions by the glory gained in the many battles they emerged from, victorious. Archdruids become one with nature, and the land itself rushes to their aid. Dreadnoughts rely on the art of engineering to construct their unstoppable artificial armies. All those powers, all of their miraculous exploits, all of their desires, all thrown into one realm of war. This shall truly be an age of wonders!

With Age of Wonders 3, Triumph Studios aims to set new standards not only for the acclaimed Age of Wonders series, but also for the turn-based strategy genre itself. Taking advantage of all the modern gaming bells and whistles, the title will deliver an impressive level of complexity in gameplay and an immersive, lush, and diverse gameworld that can become your own for hundreds of hours. With the ability to choose one of the six leader classes, you'll be able to custom-tailor your empire--and by extension your experience with the game--to your personal gameplay style, so you can enjoy the extensive campaign the game offers in any way you like. You'll be leading into battle armies recruited from within six humanoid races as well as some fantastic creatures and mythical monsters. The turn-based tactical combat itself will prove to be a challenge for the most seasoned of strategy gamers but also scalable enough for beginners to enjoy. With over 50 location types to explore and exploit, hundreds of abilities to master for tactical and strategic advantage over your foes, visually stunning presentation, and a smart random scenario generator providing virtually limitless replayability, this upcoming title may prove the only turn-based strategy game you'll need for many years to come!

Pre-order Age of Wonders 3, for only $39.99 or the USD equivalent of £29.99, or €39.99 on GOG.com (or opt in for the splendid Age of Wonders 3 - Deluxe Edition), and secure your entry to the fantastic realm of power and dominion, which opens to all the brave souls approximately on March 31. Note that Age of Wonders 3 is the first title with regional pricing on GOG.com in quite some time and this means that we are charging the USD equivalents of the official regional price.

Note, that just as we have done before in such occasions, we'll be throwing in a little something extra to the deal, to accommodate those of you, who end up paying more than the others due to the currency conversion rates applied. We've picked some games that fit well with the genre represented by Age of Wonders III, and if you're one of those people, you'll get to pick one of them. You'll be sent a gift-code allowing you to redeem one of the following excellent titles: Master of Magic, Lords of Magic: Special Edition, Eador: Genesis, King’s Bounty: The Legend, Disciples II: Gold, and Etherlords II.
Just a heads up but for me (don't know if anyone else) but the images on the store page are popping up BEHIND the youtube video and not infront. :/

Not sure what browser you are using but maybe check if it's updated to its latest version? I am using Chrome 33.0.1750.117 m and I don't see this effect.
Europeans must pay more and they won't get free money, like with The Witcher 2's case? DON'T BUY THIS UNTIL GOG CHANGES HIS MIND!

Niggles: Not any DLC. Things like one mission or crappy skins. Stuff like the Xcom expansion or Civ V G&K or BNW are genuine expansions people still call DLC but all were made well after the original game was made.
DLC which is ok for me is stuff made and launched well after the original game launched. Day 1 DLC is just taking the piss....
This DLC bandwagon that every developer is jumping on these days is a really serious plague. We are getting more frequent Day 1 DLC (The term itself is entirely ridiculous) for new games not to mention the idiotic skin packs and other cosmetic DLC which are mostly unnecessary and do not really add to the games therefore should just be free updates. The other DLC type that really bothers me are weapon packs for action games which in some cases is just a single pistol with a different skin on it. We are not far away from a time when every single bullet for new weapons will start to come out as DLC. This is a real issue which needs to be discussed and highlighted, so people should start voting with their wallets to avoid this preposterous method for add-ons.

With regards to gameplay DLC there is also a lot of nonsense going on like The Sims expansions and Sleeping Dogs or Darksiders II for example where even after all the DLC comes out there is no Complete version of the game released and you still have to purchase all the DLC separately. This process of releasing additional content has made me swear off of ever pre-ordering or purchasing new games and to wait for the inevitable complete/ultimate yada yada edition. But as I have said that does not happen for every game and it needs to be highlighted and stopped before developers start releasing completely broken games with fix patches as paid DLC or additional content. Thank you for reading if you did and sorry for the rant. :)

Well, I was curious about the game when GOG first published a trailer of it, but my curiosity dropped a lot afert seing the price asked for this (not to mention the regional pricing crap)...

To anyone interested, in Portugal the price asked is:

40€ for the normal version and 45€ for the Deluxe (55$ and 62$).

I'm really curious about the different prices available. Has anyone started a price list by country?

I would like to hear some clarifications from GOG's staff. If I bought the game now, I could choose one of those games listed. But what if I only choose to buy the game after March 31?

Now the complains (these are simple rants, take them with a grain of salt, so to speak):

a) 40€, really? Almost 10% of my country's minimum salary, for a digital game, with so weak extras?
b) Pre-order DLC? Bah...
c) 10$ maximum value of the game gifted, when the price difference reaches 15$?
d) Such a short selection of games... what if the user has them all or, simply doesn't want any of them?
e) Why not offer the first AoW games?

Not cool Triumph Studios.... not cool...
Regardless of the pricing, from what I see so far this is a very good game. I would like to purchase one for my younger brother because he's into these strategy and fantasy genre. But the asking price is bit too high, even in USD. Plus it looks like the game will be receiving dozen of DLCs in the future.

I'm also seeing this Judas... I'm using Firefox 27.0.1 (current version).

EDIT: also, an update on this, this seems to happen in the page... the Fractured Soul gamepage is OK.

And let me guess, that's the latest version of FF, i.e. the most current and you cannot update it any further at this time?

My chrome (Version 33.0.1750.117 m) doesn't have this issue, it's working like it should.

If you think action games are bad about it or any of the other games you listed: http://i.imgur.com/q571F.jpg

Each of these DLCs is one train.
