Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders, an investigation/mystery adventure, is now available for pre-order for Windows and Mac with a 20% discount, DRM-free on GOG.com.

For some people murder comes as naturally as reciting the alphabet. For others the same is true for solving them. Hercule Poirot, the eccentric, mustachioed detective with the formidable grey cells, is one of those people. "A" is for his adorable belgian accent. "B" is for the impressive brain power possessed by such a little man. And "C" is for all the clues you will need to examine during your desperate investigation that will put a stop to the murdering spree of the appropriately named "A.B.C. killer".

For not only is this man terrorizing the British countryside by leaving a trail of alphabetically sequential victims, he even has the audacity to personally challenge the great Hercule Poirot by questioning his intellectual prowess. Such insolence cannot stand! Step into the well-polished shoes of the legendary detective, collect information, question the suspects and establish the timeline of the crimes. Your deductions will decide this sinister battle of wits and secure Poirot's reputation as the ultimate detective of our times. And the most modest.

Pre-order Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders, Hercule Poirot's latest adventure, before the curiously-named murderer strikes again! The 20% pre-order discount will last until the game's expected launch on February 4, 2016.
Well, at first sight i was ready to buy it. On checkout i saw that GOG didn't publish the Linux version(like Steam does) so I cancelled my order :P
Ooh! This looks interesting. On the wishlist it goes.
C'est magnifique! Time to exercise "the little grey cells". This is a must-have for me.
Hm, it could be interesting if its made after Agatha Christies Poriot but won't preorder. Have to see some gameplay before to see if this is worth anything.

Also why no linux version?

snowkatt: no but i have seen albert finney as poirot in murder on the orient express
i usually like suchet better as poirot but not in this case
I've collected several version of Orient Express in different media, and have enjoyed each of them for their own merits. Suchet is the definitive Poirot for me as well, as Brett is Holmes. But there are other good portrayals too as you point out. Case in point, I have just ordered Sir McKellen's take on Holmes to see how that plays out.
high rated
I don't know anything about and any ABC murders, but I do know why 6 is afraid of 7.

Because 7 8 9.

I think my great grandfather told me that joke about 26 years ago. Still good after all these years. :)

This looks interesting, but as always, will wait on reviews. I've banned myself from doing pre-orders.
Nice looking adventure game.

But Oh Noes! It regionally priced, like, prices that are different in different regions! Surely there's never been a bigger catastrophy in all of videogaming.

Yeah, I'm going to wait on this one. Wishlisted.

Big fan of the TV series, so I must ask: why does Poirot sound english? o.O
It looks inviting, but I did not like the couple of views we heard in that trailer. I've wishlisted for now, I'll wait till some videos appear showing what the other voices like Poirot and Hastings sound like.
nice! wont preorder but put the game on wishlist for later.
I'm interested though afraid it'll turn into a more casual adventure than I'd like. Nice graphics, though.

And I never really liked Poirot or Miss Marple as characters. I was always more into Agatha Christie's novels with no recurring protagonist.

Breja: I'm not a big fan of Poirot. I'd much rather see the rest of the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games here.
As for frogware's Sherlock Holmes games. Well, I'm always into having as much adventure games as possible in here. Although I'd rather have the original Mythos Software adventures (The Lost Files Of Sherlock Holmes: The Case Of The Serrated Scalpel and The Lost Files Of Sherlock Holmes: The Case Of The Rose Tattoo).
But anyway, even if I like Sherlock Holmes more than Hercules Poirot, at the end of the day Frogware games are based on new storylines from the developers.

ShadowWulfe: Nice! I like Anuman stuff, does this mean we will get more?

Niburu was good too you know.
Nibiru? If your refering to that one from the developers of the first Black Mirror, I'm also very interested in it, along with Next Life/Reprobates, Tale Of a Hero and Alter Ego.
Does David Suchet voice Poirot in this?

If so i'm definitely preordering it.

Painted_Doll: I'm sorry Gog but but i'm a Miss Marple ( Geraldine McEwan ) / Sherlock Holmes ( Jeremy Brett ) fan . :p
What, no love for Suchet? :P

It's Sir Ian-FuckingMcKellen, it will be good! :D No, kidding, but curious about this rendition of the character...

Another fan of Suchet here!

Although I'm a sucker for Brett's Sherlock ( I grew up watching the Granada series), I also liked Robert Downey J. version and I'm a fan of Cumberbatch's Sherlock.

For Poirot though... there's only Suchet! He IS Poirot!

Siegor: The killer is obviously a kindergarden teacher.

wolfsrain: I'd say that the butler did it. Case solved, so we can all go home now:)
Nah... It's gotta be Jane Marple and Ariadne Oliver.
