Be the very first to play!

<span class="bold">The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt</span> is now available to preload on GOG.com. If you have pre-ordered the anticipated, next-generation RPG, you can choose to pre-load the game and be one of the very first to play once it goes live on May 19th.

The simplest way to preload the game is through the just-released GOG Galaxy Beta. GOG Galaxy is fully integrated into the DRM-free release of <span class="bold">The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt</span> and includes convenient auto-updates, game time tracking and achievements. Of course, you can also preload manually by downloading the available files off your shelf on the website.

The preload includes subtitles in every language and full English voiceovers. Once the game is live, you'll have the option to download an additional ~3GB language pack with voiceovers in your preferred language.

Got a whopping 1 gig dl already at 0.2 mb hehe.. out 26gig then i restart my pc lost 1gig some how and have to re download again at whopping speed of 0.1mb i hope im in time when game releases?

78 mb out of 26gb what a amazing speed i have with gog galaxy:P

Gonne try normal way this takes forever.

Gog downloader say 21.95 gb seems through gog galaxy you download also goodies?

Beta indeed seems not working as intended?

Hope i don't miss files dl through gog downloader?

Also when downloaded have to figure out how i transfer it to gog galaxy?

Same problem here, download speed at 0.1 MB/s with GOG Galaxy.

Sometimes it bumps up to 1.1 MB/s but just for few seconds and then come back to 0.1 :\

yeah i just hit 2.4mb/s there then straight back down to 0.1 and i have 40mbs internet

Well gog downloader at least stay steady and download at 1mb still slow but at least faster then 0.1mb hehe

It somehow bottleneck at some point if it's servers gog or my internet provider dunno at least im glad early enough to have game ready when game launch.

If your not playing it through english language the language pack is avaible at launch sdditional dl language pack 3gb.

so now i download the preload and it including all the language option??? or it doesn't release yet?????

It seems that downloading the installer through the library page is the fastest way to go. I'm getting about 3mb/s.

GOG Galaxy refuses to preload The Witcher 3. It's always stuck at "Getting file list" and then it hops me back to library page.

Best way to download - ignore GOG Galaxy and just use the normal library, Galaxy is still beta remember and I don't think it getting hammered with 1 million pre-orders will help the servers any...

That's what i did aswell, installed and downloaded with GOG downloader, and voila game shows up in GOG Galaxy :)

it's really weird for me - i've downloaded something yesterday (see attached image "w3"), it is 23,5gb heavy and it went pretty fast.
today GOG Galaxy is downloading something else to a temp folder (image "w3a") via Install option in Galaxy, it weighs 26gb according to Galaxy.

can someone explain to me what's going on? does it downloading preload for the second time to another folder?
GOG Galaxy folder settings are at default - it installs games to C:\GOG Games
