Be the very first to play!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available to preload on GOG.com. If you have pre-ordered the anticipated, next-generation RPG, you can choose to pre-load the game and be one of the very first to play once it goes live on May 19th.

The simplest way to preload the game is through the just-released GOG Galaxy Beta. GOG Galaxy is fully integrated into the DRM-free release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and includes convenient auto-updates, game time tracking and achievements. Of course, you can also preload manually by downloading the available files off your shelf on the website.

The preload includes subtitles in every language and full English voiceovers. Once the game is live, you'll have the option to download an additional ~3GB language pack with voiceovers in your preferred language.

The complete original soundtrack is also available for download today alongside the preload, just in time to set the proper mood for the ruthless, dark-fantasy epic. If you preordered the game, you'll find the soundtrack in the bonus goodies section of your shelf. Don't forget, that this is one of the last opportunities to take advantage of the pre-order discounts - that includes the -20% loyalty deal for owners of the previous two The Witcher games on GOG.com!

While you wait, check out one of the sexiest previews of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, brought to you by the hilarity-infused Conan O'Brien:

funniest damn promo interview ever. Conan rocks!
Okay, preloaded and installer and bonus secured on a separate disk ^_^

But... in the configure options, how do you change the language? It's in english and greyed so i can't change it... Not that it's really important since I can't play it anyway, but out of curiosity I'd like to know...

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Downloaded and installed already! Cannot wait for the file to unlock it, upon release day!

As i was going through the achievements, i saw you can kill radovid! I really can't wait to butcher down that prick, he is the only king alive in my playthrough (except for Annais)! Also there are Horse-Races! Yay! What a minigame full of fun!

Bets, anyone? :P

Senteria: Damn it thanks for spoiling -_-"
Whoops. Sorry. But don't mind me... If you completed the download too, and pressed the button "see achievements", you would instantly see those, too!

Besides it would be kind of obvious, i suppose... In 1 the order was the big enemy and you butchered down the GM. In 2 Radovid controls the order and it orders it to "kidnap" Annais, a child, for his vile, scheming purposes. Anyone would guess Radovid would end at the wrong end of the Witcher's blade...

Also, besides horse races, you get companion NPCs, as in 1 and 2. Especially at the fight against the Wild Hunt, where you can recruit many.

Then the Game is Live you can select another Language but you need to DL addidional data for that, from the News it should be around 3GB

Makes sense, thanks for the info!
Hi!

Like others here, I was preloading TW3 via GOG Galaxy at 0.2 MB/s. At this speed, the game would be ready for playing by the time CDPR releases Cyberpunk 2077.

So, I gave up downloading via Galaxy and choose ol'good GoG downloader instead. And then my download speed just got normal.

So, GoG Galaxy needs a quick fix to adjust it to our correct internet speed. This, or then the Galaxy servers aren't the same as old GoG downloader's and they are just choking due to high traffic.

EDIT: after downloading the game thru GoG downloader, can it be "imported" to Galaxy ? If so, how ?

Well, I downloaded the game by GOG Galaxy, and was fast as any other, just had some issues with the hard disk change but in general I gott no problems with.
You're lucky then :)
And The Spanish Pre-Load?
I have install the Pre-load in english and not is possible change to spanish language or other language after the installation.
Sorry for me english.

-----------------------------------------------

In Spanish:
Yo tengo instalado el Pre-load en ingles y no es posible cambiar a el lenguaje español u otro lenguaje despues de la instalación.

Añado (add in spanish language):
¿Será posible dentro de los 6 dias que quedan cambiar el idioma a español o habrá que hacerlo desde 0 (espero que no, porque cuando empece a instalarlo ayer el españolk no estaba como opción y sólo hay que cambiar los textos ¿no?)?
A video if the issue I was having before restarting Galaxy: https://youtu.be/2aY9CsRFbMQ

Usually what you can do is choose the import from folder feature. Open GOG Galaxy and click on the game itself and if you click on the pull down menu it should have a "import from folder" button. Click on it and then go directly to where the witcher 3 is installed and click on the games folder instead of the where you have all your games installed. It works better with a direct connection to the games folder you are trying to import. Once you do that it will reinstall, but not redownload so it should take a couple of minutes to five minutes at the most.
