It's weird that your links take me back straight to my post. You might check those out :)
Or maybe it's an issue on my end. Still, search function works just fine :)

Also, we need even more C64 music :P

Icewind Dale - Kuldahar Theme. That is the song that made me feel the cold of the Spine of the World. I can't post a link to youtube apparently :(

cschock: I've never played Secret of Evermore (since I've never had a Nintendo system), but I will have to see about finding samples of the music.
Definitely worth a listen. I've seen opinions of the music vary widely over the years (depending on who you ask you'll likely find someone calling it his weakest effort or his best ever, mostly) but even the most harsh critics of it seem to agree that it shows how promising his output was going to be in the coming years.

defosh369: That second track that you have posted is just fantastic, never heard of Outlaws. Will check it out.
Do, the entire score is quite good. Reminiscent of Ennio Morricone's scores for "Spaghetti Westerns" such as A Fist Full of Dollars. The game is also really very good. I don't normally like first person shooters, but it was excellent on many levels. If only Disney/LucasArts would release their back catalog here on GOG!

That's another very good piece by Jeremy Soule. Nice choice!

So many great tracks posted.
So much stuff to listen to (even though I've listened to most of it by now :P)

Just as a small bump and a update:

Does anyone remember the mafia games? and the main theme of those games?
For anyone that has played those titles, those should smack some nostalgia, as they did for me..

Classic:

Modern:

And I must say, recently I'm a complete sucker for orchestral music. I was listening to all sorts of orchestral music. Including some game music like Lords of Shadow 1 and Lords of Shadow 2 (plus some mafia obviously) soundtracks and I was amazed. Good stuff overall. I also dig through some reeditions of well known classic tracks like Halo or Chrono. Pkus some overall orchestral stuff.
Okay, now well known/popular share media should deliever good quality audio. Right? :(

I'm a sucker for epic, choral stuff, so Advent Rising's music is my favorite. I also enjoyed the intro song from the second Hitman game.

Yep. In classic and orchestral music I trust.

Advent Rising?
There is a part of my mind that remembers this name very well . Yes it does. Will give it a go as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing :)
The Genesis tends to get a bad reputation for music, perhaps justifiably, when compared to the SNES. There are a few examples, however, where it manages to overcome its limitations.

As an example, is this excellent selection from one of my favorite games, Warsong.

My post editing was so immensely horrible. Like I have linked the same thing three times.

Fixed it all up, sorry about that :D

Just because I was a bit of a Sega guy growing up, and I'm in that kind of mood, here's Amon's Theme from Dark Wizard on the Sega CD.

That Journey To Silius soundtrack is quite nice. I don't recall playing that one.
