I've never cared much about the usual chiptune or "epic orchestrated" or pseudo-japanese-metal soundtracks of video games, they have always felt a bit 'meh' to me, but it's really hard for me not to absolutely love Peter McConnell's unique jazzy Grim Fandango Original Game Soundtrack

[EDIT] Which reminds me that Joel Bille, who composed the soundtrack to Stick It to The Man! also did a wonderful job in his homage to McConnell's work (and you can get it for free on bandcamp).

defosh369: Deus Ex, main theme - Sitting in the games main menu just to listen to this awesome track? well I did! Without question a true classic.
Classic:

Enhanced
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1oxIrAX39M

Deus Ex: Human Revolution, icarus theme - Maybe it doesn't consist of a jumpy beat, but it's just epic. The very relaxing vocals combined with somewhat anxious music does the job. I just love this track.
Normal version (high quality):

Extended version (low quality)

I tottaly agree with these 2. Awesome music, especially Icarus theme (Even if ti's not my most favourite music, it's the music of my most favourite game)

Eidos Montreal has released these reworked songs for DeusEx1

Wishbone: My best guess is that it's too long. Try breaking it down into smaller posts.
Yep that is my guess too. Will do that later today, as soon as I get some free time. After all, it is ridiculously long, isn't it? As soon as I've started posting, I couldn't stop :P
The Secret of Monkey Island intro tune.
That puts a smile on my face every time :)
Pretty much anything Castlevania. The music in just about every game is incredible.

But in particular, the Dracula Battle Perfect Selection CD's Konami made, where they did full remixes of Castlevania songs.

Iron Blue Intention - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ7gk0iyVXI

This may be my favorite song of all time. It's not too faithful to the original, but it's still amazing.

Reincarnated Soul - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cfsa5cEXniI

But my absolute favorite Castlevania track is Divine Bloodlines, theme of Ritchter Belmont - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6kqjf16fLw
My favorite video game music is:
Donkey Kong Country 2
Assassin's Creed II
Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies
Fire Emblem: Awakening
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Dragon's Dogma "Intro Free-Dangan" by B'z Music Video

Title Screen music.

Deadly Premonition :)
KRAID

When I die I want everyone from the forum at the funeral dressed as their favorite game characters with this music blasting non-stop.

Open bar of course. :D

Star Control 2 was the first time I paid attention to a game's OST. Had a good techno vibe

Novotnus: Deadly Premonition :)
Ahhh, yes. That instantly became a ring-tone for me ;-)

1 - These whole soundtracks:

-The Incredible Machine Mega Pack
-Battle for Wesnoth (especially the song used in the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3P39lppcH4 )
-Jetpack 2

2 - I particularly like these songs from Deus Ex:

-The theme song
-Any one of the action/battle songs
-Hell's Kitchen
-Hong Kong
-VersaLife

3 - Also these from Beneath a Steel Sky:

-Main theme
-Hobbins theme
-Belle Vue theme
Agree with earlier one of CMB64-Giana sisters, even more so the newer Giana Sister` games audio. Giana OST but then it`s Machinae Supremacy, what`s not to like? \m/

Guild Wars (the original Guild Wars, not the new mess ;p), that music is really good, even if it`s made by some dude with dubious thoughts ;)

The entire MechWarrior 2 soundtrack, hands down. Here's a sample:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSgpH-0L91Y (Plays in the missions Temper Edge and Wolf Trial 4)
Continueed with my list :)

Bulletstorm main theme - This has to be the most epic, over exaggerated and overdone themes that I've heard in a long time, and that's why I love it. Great job from Polish composers. This theme fills your ears with pure unfiltered awesomeness.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5lPXiDueus

Metro 2033 dead city and one step up to the horizon - This is a very atmospheric, but kind of depressing game. The same when it comes to it's soundtrack. That deep and engrossing atmosphere, unnatural events and sadness makes this game and it's soundtrack one of my favorites. This music really fits this world created by Dmitry Glukhovsky prefectly.
Horizon stuff:

City stuff:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzWUs_f3pyM&list=FL2X7I13W8rynWRCWX8cIX9A&index=24

Ridge Racer Type 4 whole soundtrack - On a slight less depressing note, this soundtrack will cheer up even the most sad and bored person. Tracks like Pearl Blue Soul, Naked Glow, Lucid Rythyms, Motor Species and The Ride will instantly make you arcade racing experience truly unique and awesome. And most importantly, it will make you smile a lot.
Example 1:

Example 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waRwDnGh32I#t=35

Command and Conquer: Red Alert hell march, iron fist - Saying the name Frank Klepacki should be enough to make you love it. Most of the tracks in C&C1 and C&C2 are fantastic, so give them a listen.
Hell March:

Iron Fist:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nr0oet0Mhoo]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nr0oet0Mhoo]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nr0oet0Mhoo

The Wicher believe - Just an epic and beautiful song that instantly grabs not only everyone who played the first game, but also those who never played it. Very relaxing and atmoshperic masterpiece. There are many of those during the dame though, so go play it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoBW1VLJzds

L.A. Noire menu theme - Believe me or not, I spent way too much time sitting in the game menu because of this great track. Very atmospheric and very relaxing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bW75OwVXZI&feature=kp

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow whole soundtrack - This game and it's soundtrack is simply amazing.

And I stop here for a second, what a soundtrack it is. This, believe me or not, it is the most epic, beautiful and tearjerking (I hope this word is correct) soundtracks in modern videogame history in my opinion. The orchestra did such a fine job. It just hard to believe that we can have such a great music in your games these days. It's for those players that like orchestra and videogames. And Please, do yourself a favor, if you like to listen to this, no matter if you have a great speaker system or headphones, play this loud, you won't regret it.

Links will be added probably, since I didn't found my favorite songs in good quality yet. Though, you can search for the songs via a serch engine and dig yourself.

Mirrors Edge still alive - It's just a great track. It will mostly appeal to people that had played this game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TERyxFfMqDk

Super Hexagon full soundtrack - This mix of chip and beat music is just brilliant for me. Do yourself a favor and either listen to it, or get the game an play it to experience it. There is a very special reward when you 'beat it' that will be spoiled when listening to the soundtrack..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jigRSeRYMzA

Gunstinger konichiwa - The whole soundtrack is free to download from the developer's official website, so go and grab it. This track especially is just fantastic for me. I absolutley love the guitar and the feel of it..
Just search for Gunstringer Soundtrack.

The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 known soundtracks and upcoming soundtracks - Simple as that. Loved the music in The Witcher 2 and while listening to The Witcher 3 tracks, I'm thinking it's even better, which is impossible to me. How did you do that CDPR music composers and creators?
Witcher 3 1:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDEKFCZ8psM
Witcher 3 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uaQCMY77mg

Bayonetta Fly To The Moon - This single track showcases what is great about a whole game. This is why it goes to my favorite list. It only works with the gameplay, you you might check it out, since it isn't a spoiler. There is much more in this game.
Only music:

Gameplay bit witout spoilers:
Music with gameplay:

I think that should be it for now. I probably missed a lot of great tunes that I've liked, but they aren't as memorable as those above. I will add ones that I've missed by editing option. Sorry for any language mistakes.

If the number of shared links is against the general rules, please tell me, so I ca delete them :)

You can easly copy and paste the names of those track to find music for it or use added YouTube links. And don't worry, you don't need to post a massive list (like I did), just post a few tracks so everyone can enjoy them.

Once again, have an awesome listen and please share your favorites!
