morciu: Where do you muchachos get those neat desktop widgets for win7? I just started using it a few days ago so I'm still getting used to it.
Have you got anything in particular in mind? I've only got Core Temp, and there's a separate download for the desktop temperature monitor thing, the installing of which is a matter of a double-click.

It's interesting to see how people organize their desktops. While I have this thread favorited for forever now, it's been about a year before my last post here a few days ago. Man, just looking at that old desktop... my now backup lappie with Win7 and all those pre-V2 shortcuts and it's relatively low resolution look a bit trippy in comparison.

Yeah it's quite fun to look back at old settings.
I found an old desktop setup I used to have on my old Windows XP computer.
Used Samurize to customize it.

Changed the wallpaper and hid the Recycle Bin icon behind Core Temp. Temperatures and CPU load are maxed out because of World Community Grid, in case anyone's wondering.

I've got two monitors and a tomcat running on this PC. There's not enough free memory for a printscreen.

Creepy wallpaper.
Right now I'm enjoying the safety of nostalgia.

Boring huh?

The question is, how much more black could it be?
The answer is none; none more black.

That's actually #0a0a0a, so I guess we have a little wiggle room. :)
My desktop background has utterly refused to change itself for over three and a half years (probably closer to four). I got a new screen in the mean time though.

Feeling a little bit claustrophobic currently, with all the icons, I should properly file away half of them soon to gain some space.

Windowless desktop shot.
