I have to ask, what could you possibly need that many D2's running at the same time for. I love Diablo but that just seems like an extreme amount of overkill to me.

Diabloclone walks.
You may know this, but if you're looking to cleanup some icons (and you know you always want X number of copies of the game running) you can load it via a script.
It would take about 3-5 lines of code to setup a loop to run X copies.
Oh, if someone is like me and hadn't heard of a Diabloclone walk, here are some links:

I'm not doing walks now. but I was starting them up using some other external application.
Gotcha.
Implementing the Diabloclone walks was a neat idea of Blizzard's. Cleanup all of the duplicated rings and generate some buzz!

Oh you bet. Subscriptions to rapidshare and netload are not free you know : ).But all my 117 installed games are bought, most of them from retail, around 30 from gog and 15 from Steam.
I love desktop-topics!
These are screenshots of my current (linux) setup, using the xmonad window manager with xmobar. I play most of my games using my vista partition (for which I haven't done any effort to make it look nice). This prevents my from playing games when I'm supposed to be working. Now if only I could figure out something similar for the internet =P
