Here's my desktop.

Here's mine. Quite empty at the moment.
(It's the external screen for my Macbook Pro, which I use at home and at work.)

My current desktop setup.

Though I did first state, I minimise taskbars and remove any icons... the move to Vista and a wide-screen desktop has changed things around.
The dock still minimises, and I'll probably drop it for the taskbar eventually. Which I now keep vertical.
Weather gadget on desktop, good for a quick reference. Heavily transparent until mouse over, so not to distract.
