And here is mine

My sway desktop, on a Debian Sid. Left is the main screen (1280×1024, 19"), right is the secondary screen (1680×1050, 22").

Do not look for menu bars, icons or anything like that, it’s not that they are hidden but more simply that I do not use any,

My common software are all spawned from dedicated keyboard shortcuts, that would be:
- Claws Mail
- Firefox (ESR)
- Xfce Terminal

Most of my other software is run from (and usually in) the terminal. With the notable exception of games, that I run from Xfce Appfinder (that one being linked to a keyboard shortcut too).

I attached a capture of Xfce Appfinder on my system, showcasing my custom GTK theme.
(this capture is a bit old, but there has been no major change since then)

Since the screenshot of my empty desktop does not tell a lot about what my environment really looks like, here is another capture that shows how it looks like when I am actually using it.

The secondary screen, on the right, is mostly used to store the windows I am not focusing on right now. A bit like a visual Alt-Tab.

What can not easily be shown is that I use 4 workspaces, each spanning 2 screens (for sway it is actually counted as 8 workspaces), each one dedicated to a specific activity and reachable by a keyboard shortcut:
- ./play.it development
- discussions (chat and e-mails)
- media (music and videos)
- everything else (Web browsing, working on my day job, contributing to open-source software, etc.)

Nothing is allowed to send notifications from one workspace to another, meaning that activity in discussions can not distract me when I am focusing on another workspace.

When I am playing a game I usually shut down one of the screens and play with only one single display. Unless I am actually debugging a game, then it runs on a screen while a terminal runs on the other.
