Hi all...I was crashing at the Lake scene just after the wedding. I posted here about it and saw that a few of you were having the same problem with no real fix, so I sent an email to support and they got back to me with some things to try.
I implemented some of them and the game worked perfectly with no crashing issues. Since many of you are having the same problem I am posting what they had me try so hopefully it will help you all as well. Here is what they sent me to try.

Please remove all mods if you have installed any. Please open the Galaxy Client, click the game and use the MORE > MANAGE > VERIFY / REPAIR function and check if the issue persists.

Please check if the issue persists if you lower the graphics settings.

Please also try disabling VSync, turning hardware cursor off and setting the framerate cap to unlimited.

Switching between fullscreen and borderless windowed mode might also help.

I had no mods installed so that wasn't the issue. I verified/repaired, disabled VSync, set the framerate to unlimited, my hardware cursor was already off, and I changed to fullscreen. Game works great and did not crash at the boat scene.

Hope this helps you all like it did me. Good luck.
So... many... options... *twitch*

Would you mind awfully keeping your hands off my Llama? - it's Moose season you know!
You can't fix the crash that comes just after wedding. Not with "Verify/Repair" (marriage is too easily verified and repairing it doesn't work) and certainly not with "lowering the graphic settings" (so, that's how kids call "getting drunk" nowadays?)

I honestly thought this is about a game called Wedding till I read your post o.O

Well I didn't know I should have put this post in a specific place and what I did fixed the problem for me. All I was trying to do was share the wealth; so to speak, and help some folks out in the gaming community. I had no idea this would create such problem for some of you. I get it, point taken.....help not wanted from an outsider. Hmmmm, can only wonder what Geralt would do in this situation. Guess he'd just say..."F... it" and move on. Take care all.

And I thought this thread was about that movie with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. :-P

No one minds that you want to help. But this thread would have been much more helpful if you had included somewhere which game you are talking about ;-)

No, no problem at all from me - take the suggestions as just having another avenue for getting your question answered. I know I myself have posted game specific requests in general because the subforum might be a bit "empty."

My post was in regards to all the horrible, rude comments I could make concerning keeping strangers from having sex with your sisters, bridesmaids, mother etc (a literal "fix for wedding crashes"). Yes, I know - I have the mentality of a child ;)

This was totally what I was expecting when I opened the thread...

I apologize for my behaviour. However I have to say that you shouldn't take everything so serious and not feel insulted. Threads here on GOG are bound to suffer some kind of derailment. And to be fair you should have been more clear on what you wanted to discuss.
A turf war is enfolding between humans and koalas and the koalas are loosing ground. It's an outcome that's shaking up their sedentary lives. When a new koala saunters onto the scene, tensions explode. As these confrontations increase, scientists are trying to understand koala communications.
