Dray2k: EDIT 2: I wish I wouldn't need to write disclaimers like that. Usually people get mad at me only if the shoe fits but nowadays things are silly and people WANT to get mad for whatever reason and being mad online is the daily sport for many people. I don't want that to happen here so if you read this. Hopefully some people on here who understand this and didn't take anything I wrote the wrong way! Have a nice day at any case. Also I write like a Baby Boomer, I feel old.
I think here, in particular, you catch something that we're discussing in another post. What causes this rage behavior other than low tolerance? I mean, look, to me the lawsuit is about potentially changing the upper structure of GOG for the better (possibly for the worst). Everyone else here is focusing on GOG itself. Both ways of looking at it, those who are hopeful are out for blood. Why? Because we're pissed about one thing or another. But, then, realize, how many people are only angry because of CP2077, not Galaxy, not Devotion, not regional pricing, etc? Those people are out for blood, just for a bad launch of a game. And i do mean, they're not just looking to be mad, they're out there to cause (figurative) bloodshed by asking for people to have their jobs removed.
Now, for my own little disclaimer, i hope it gets settled out of court, and that the board learns from this and changes their behavior in such a way that we don't know whether or not the bloodshed happened or not. GOG's pot needs stirred, but i i think a slowly escalating chain of events like this could lead to change without removal of people. I'm more interested in stirring the pot than anything, but peacefully, rather than a bunch of people loosing their jobs, might be more appropriate. But, hey, i'll pick up my pitchfork, too. Let's lynch Frankenstein's monster!
EDIT: *reads previous posts* OK, maybe i do need to calm down a bit before posting.
