I've downloaded my purchase of Pool of Radiance that I havent played in quite some time.
When you start the game you have to answer with various the code wheel passwords but I cant seem to find the code wheel pdf that used to come with the game docs. All I can find in reference is the v2 code wheel as an .exe file.

I downloaded the linux version from GOG with the linux installer, why did they remove the original code wheel pdf?

Also looking at Curse of the Azure Bonds (another gold box game) it still has the original pdf of all code wheel combinations.
The Code wheel is found in the Extras of the games

Go to your library, click on the game and it should be on the right in the extras section.

But it's a .exe file, not a .pdf file like the other code wheels in the Forgotten Realms collections. Not much use for a Linux user.

OP: mine is the same. I didn't even notice when I downloaded my backup months ago.
According to this old post in a sticky in the Forgotten Realms Collection sub-forum, you don`t actually need the code wheel.
Apparently, the copy protection in all of these games, except Hillsfar, has been cracked and can be bypassed by typing in anything.

The code wheel application for Pool of Radiance is just a fancy extra. I don`t think that game ever included a PDF with the combinations.

Originally, the code wheel was added as a .pdf-file (version 1).
But after some years, they replaced it with an .exe-file (version 2).

Huh. Good to know. Weird that they would replace the PDF.

Hillsfar does feature the code wheel PDF in the extras section, while the installer includes the application.
