jimmmmmo: That is hilarious, best voice acting ever?

Was that the donald duck voice? lol
:D I really enjoy the moment when Azsh punches James in the face, because "it can be done". I think this is the true reality how Pokemon Go battles will end in real life. :)) "Because its possible" :)

I don't understand the video language at all, but the moment is soo obvious. :)

Shadowstalker16: 1.Not when compared to the real games it isn't.
2. I understand it is, but most people already know of the anime and many people think it came first (no one in my college I've talked to knew there was a game before the anime that started things off), and even then, its a good way to milk the franchise, but it troubles me to see a franchise I love being put on the cutting board to be cut into pieces of retarded social game BS.
3.The first sentence answers it then :D Also, what you said probably doesn't apply to people born after 1994 with social media accounts and smartphones today.

Either way, I'm sure you understand I'm not arguing anything factual but more ranting about it because of my feelings. I feel its a part of the senseless protectiveness we / I feel toward our favorite franchises and the cynicism that comes with other interpretations of those franchises.

Gilozard: 1) Opinions are always subjective. You gave your opinion, other people have different opinions. I see you are from a non-native-English country, so perhaps you just haven't been taught the word correctly? Subjective means "relating to the way a person experiences things in his or her own mind". Saying "this game is garbage" is always subjective because that's an opinion, it's a person's reaction to something. Saying "this game allows you to capture 250 pokemon" is objective.

2) Can we please not have fandom purity wars in this forum? I know it's super tempting but I hope everyone here is over middle school age and can resist the urge.

3) Stereotyping people based on their social media use is stupid. For one thing, this forum counts as social media, and I know you're on here all the time. For one, social media use has no correlation with anything important, it's jsut too widespread.
1. I know. That's why I said its a rant. I feel bad about it but know everything is right with the whole thing and its just the game being successful. But hype is annoying, especially when its about a dumber mobile version of a game that's been around for years.

2. I'm actually not into the fandom at all. Its that people are getting hyped up for a spin-off with little mechanical similarity to the original game is what I'm pissed off about. I'm not even ''hardcore'' into the pokemon ''fandom'', whatever that entails.

3. Yeah, but its convenient. Like a thousand other things like calling people kids or 12-year-olds when they're being dumb. Its more linking the person you're referring (insulting?) to to a particular stereotype like a social media butterfly or angry kid on the internet. Not like I'm gonna draw conclusions on people's intelligence from their social media hours or anything.
Yes, but we more commonly refer to systems like these as 'forums' and systems like facebook and twitter as 'social media' although almost all of the internet is technically 'social media'.

If you really meant what you said about it being a rant and feeling bad about it, you would have left your response at that. No multi-paragraph explanation needed.

On-topic: Finally, finally caught that Venonat. It's been hanging around my block for days and kept disappearing when I got close.

When I thought humanity couldn't stoop any lower, people obsess over this glorified scavenger hunt like brainless lunatics... Well, at least now they're getting outside.

Breja: The only thing I want to know is when will this thing Go! away. I thought Overwatch hype is annoying and inescapeable, but this has easily outdone it.
This will never get away, unless something similar but more playable by everyone, like let's say Star Wars, or Star Trek will show up.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if something like this happens in the future.

Yeah it will be around for awhile, but give it a month and it will become second rate news, unless a major changing update is released lol :P

People already act like brainless zombies when they have a cellphone close to them, this just shows there´s no bottom to brainlessness.

This is like a "Pinky & The Brain" episode. Maybe Nintendo wants to conquer the world :D, not just your living room.

jimmmmmo: The real question, is pokemon specific to a certain area or is it just random events / random pokemon that appear. Do people need to go to graveyards to catch ghost pokemon or water type pokemon at the beach?
As far as I know there are more water Pokémon at the beach. I also got both my water Pokémon from the beach.
Good god, dear, SWEET jesus!!! Now i can claim that i have seen EVERYTHING in this life (so far at least), roar!

Just see the pictures, they are in english comments... Brrr, now i need something to calm down, i almost choked, had a stroke, from excessive laughing.

Also, it was high time i visited a gay bar, for the first time in my life; wild Machop appears there!

Since Pokémon Go's release, Nintendo's share price is up about 90%. Not bad for a cell phone game.

Zoltan999: Yup
I wonder what the real casualty number is. So far there's been a few people falling off cliffs, at least one stabbing, and some retard got injured after he trashed his car in upstate NY while looking for one of the water Pokemon.
