It looks so cute.
It should come with the Dual Shock controllers... and more games! :)
Only 20 games is pretty poor, also this is 3D emulation so who knows how smoothly the games will even play, and if input lag will be a problem. It's almost guaranteed that it won't have all the graphical bells and whistles that ePSXe emulation has for example. Also I saw something on 4chan /v/ that said it will only be 720p max resolution, not sure if it's true though.

Way more than 20:

The lack of Dual shock controllers does limit the games that will be on this, plus only $20 games at that price point it could be cheaper to get them from other places such as PSN store itself. But then again this is more for those people who are nostalgic for the system if they grew up with and are not heavy into the video game scene.
Sounds good. Though i'd like them to allow us to buy games on it, as theres many great PS1 titiles out there. They could even setup a PS Classic section on the store (I know we can already get PS1 games there on the PS3.)
It looks like a castrated, ARM-based (and bug-ridden) piece of plastic crap like all these "mini-consoles" coming out lately.

If I want to play old games, I play them through emulation. ALL of them. If I want to feel the console "experience", I buy a focking real console because I'm not a dumb rich guy that can buy all the crap the companies are putting out these days :-P
Yeah, it sounds like an absolute rip-off.
I don't get the point of those mini-consoles... apart from shameless capitalization on nostalgics.
There is really no need for this, just legalize emulation, work on it a bit, sell roms for cheap and done with it!
If it works with dosbox, it works for everything.
I'm sure it will be hackable like the nes and snes minis. It makes for a nice gift or conversation piece I think.

Yeah! and anyone that owns a Mini NES or a Mini SNES is a hopeless piece of shit!!!

*cough*
The dual shock controller never did much for the games really. It was primitive tech that never went anywhere until the next Playstation. Nice little nostalgia box.
Spyro the Dragon.
Kula World.
Wipeout 2097.
Medievil.
Gex 3D.
Croc.

If they include those, I'll think about it.

How good are they at resisting:
Being thrown at the wall
Being covered in beer
Being used as an ashtray

Well, they are what happens to the first psx we had.

I thought about buying the NES classic when it went back on sale recently, but ultimately opted for Retro Pie and dumping my own ROMs. Unfortunately, NES carts are a real pain and nobody is selling the necessary equipment.

Similarly, I'll have to look into dealing with PS1 discs to see if it's even possible to dump those. If not, I might buy this. But, OTOH, I hated the FF series, and hate giving Sony money, so who knows.
