I was waiting for this - mostly because the original simply left too many questions unanswered - including the main question of the game (and I played multiple times to be sure that I did not miss anything). Playing this demo I did not really notice the better graphics ... I did however notice stuttering and that LT and RT are - as with the original for me still swapped (RT is showing and I have to press LT. I told the devs and was surprised that they did not fix it for this demo). There are only two shot audio snippets/hot spots in this demo that I did not remember to be in the original and when you talk to a person using the stick to change dialogue options the character does not move anymore which is a big plus. Also experienced a few UI bugs in the demo (prompts that were shown without going away before accessing main menu or another screen, eye symbols which stayed white instead of going black even though there weren't additional information to gather). I really hope that this will improve a lot until release.

Edit: Regarding the difficulty. This simply is the level of information you will get from Evee when asking her about help - nothing more.

I actually liked how in the end it was open to interpretation, and the "the truth" wasn't spoon-fed to the player (much like the mystery in Firewatch). And I love discussions like over there: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1082930/discussions/0/4420805388072113161/

Please don't misunderstand me. I also like things that are open to interpretation and don't want to have everything spoomfed to me - however this game simply never provided enough information for any interpretation at all ... at least not for the main question. The protagonist himself says (after discovering the final clue) that the solution it would mean would not be possible ... so if this is the case everything could be the solution and you could interpret whatever you want. It is one thing to stay open to multiple solutions but you will always have to get enough clues to reach a solution at all. Imo this is not the case here - that#s why I was hoping for the director's cut to provide a few more clues.
