Nice more Mortal Kombat love, can we get Mortal Kombat 9? Please? I don't care if they have to leave out Freddy Krueger because of licensing but it would be great that the game was made available again.

Played the console version of this back in the day and did have a lot of fun.

AMAZING! Mortal Kombat Trilogy was one of my favorite childhood games (alongside Doom and DN3D), I still remember playing it on my PSX... Good times...

EDIT: Aaaaand... Bought! This por is great! It is like the PSX version (Well it is based on it after all) without the long LOADING screens (and without the dreaded CD ERROR messages too lol), even the secret options cheat works on this version. Also, my XBOX 360 Controller worked perfectly out of the box!

Trilogy is an upgraded (aka GOTY, if you will) edition of MK3, featuring fighters from the previous 2 titles and some other additions. All "remastered" at the time for Windows 95 :P.

The 1+2+3 pack has been available for more than a year, but those are the classic DOS versions only.

Ya this can be confusing but it is a separate game rather than a bundle of MK 1-3. This features all characters from the first three games using an upgraded build of the Ultimate MK 3 engine, it also features the aggressor meter new to the series, some characters get new moves, new fatalities, and some balancing.

By the way: "Please Note: Multiplayer is available via TCP/IP LAN. "... wish we'd get to see that more often.
