Not only is the delivery anticlimactic, but I just "won" a $2 video game from a $3 pinata. I probably would have bought 5 of them if they were implemented in a better way. Live and learn.
Interesting, they already said what price ranged game you may get in return, what you may value at $2.00 is probably not at the price the game is sold, but worth what you're willing to pay for it.
I'm really not big on paying for stuff like this. Too many indies I have absolutely no interest in and wouldn't pay a dollar for them are on the site, to go paying $3 for a random indie.

So does your mother and your brother and your father, and your sister would have but I didn't have five dollars with me that day.

I'm not a fan of this type of sale either which is why GOG simply isn't getting any of my money.

Got a specific better way in mind?
I haven't paid for one for a reason.

I wish there was a way to stop GOG from forcing us to buy these things.
GOG is the king of shitty wacky sales.
A regular sale will come along eventually.

Yea GOG just threatened to kill my family if I didn't buy a pinata, it was terrible!

Yeah, I'm not into the whole idea of gambling-style sale gimmicks. I can't bring myself to pay $3 for a chance of getting a game that I have zero interest in or that I already have elsewhere.

On top of that, I'm very particular about the games in my library - I try to only have games that I genuinely intend to play.

No torture? Only the family? They seem to like you.

Fairfox: This is the 'I have lots of disposable income' sale. I don't, and can't afford to just toss three bucks a pop at randomness. It's a tale of woe, with occasional bursts of woe. BUT ALSO AMAZING JOY.
and sandwiches!
