It's not bad, but also not very good. It's quite short and when you are an adventure game veteran, it's probably too easy, but the artstyle is great (at least I like it a lot) and if you have kids, it's a good game to play it with them.

I haven't done point-click adventure games since the days of the Sierra Quest games and I don't have kids. I'll give it a try at least.

Onsdag: No, it's just that people have only started reporting their games on this new list. Most games only have 1-2 hits so far. Over time I'm sure the list will expand.

Skargoth: Then why are you drawing conclusions about the average price of the games if you know that the list is incomplete? Even now after over 20 titles have been added the list is still missing numerous titles like Owlboy, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Serious Sam's Bogus Detour, The Age of Decadence, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series, Drox Operative, Heroes of Might and Magic V, multiple King's Bounty games, ... etc.

I do think that the higher priced games are more rare as I got most of them after starting to exhaust the game pool.
Firstly, I am only adding titles as people report buying them in this thread. If it's not reported then it doesn't make the list, sorry. Having said that, there are now 159 games reported as being in the current pool.

Secondly, I think it's perfectly safe and reasonable to draw conclusions based on the data. As it currently stands 94 out of the 159 games seen have been on sale in the recent past for anywhere from $0.39-$3.00. That means, all things being equal, you have a 59% chance to get a game that can be bought on sale for less - sometimes far less - than the pinatas themselves. One of the worst offenders is Gomo, which could have been bought 8 months ago for $0.39. Others, like Faces of War, Men of War, and Men of War: Red Tide, could have been picked up just last week for $1.19. If you didn't get these titles - and dozens of others - on sale recently you now have the chance to randomly 'win' them for $3.

WookieeMacCool: Did they change pricing for any games since pinatas have launched? I was almost sure that I was a case of "your pinata game is sold cheaper than a pinata". Now that I am checking, those games are more expensive than pinatas.
Some games have been removed from the regular sale yesterday, so they are back to their base price and more expensive than a piñata now.

Ricky_Bobby: Took the plunge again, and got Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. Which is not something I will play.

So with my Piñata history:
- Volgarr the Viking
- Darksiders
- Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People

Darksiders is the only good game among them.
So for every game I actually like I get two that I dont, ... like a typical bundle on Humble/BundleStars/GMG.
Volgarr is a pretty solid platformer, though certainly at $3 you could find it cheaper in any number of sales.

That feels like a very scummy thing to do.

yeah so they were on sale for $2.99 or $2.49 or whatever so people were complaining so they just taken them off sale so they are like $5.99 or 9.99 or whatever now that way they are more expensive than the pinata. Its not diffrent except the perceived difference because of the price. But really they can't afford to give away to many $40 games for $3 bucks, it only makes sense that the A titles will not come up that often.
