Stuff sure is skilled, no doubt about that. I wouldn't be surprised if it took less than half an hour to edit my picture, while it took me an hour just to change the sky. I thought I did a decent job, but it didn't look as natural as Stuff's.

Obsidian Dawn is full of goodies, thx for sharing. I have been playing around with the lightning brushes (I added a couple lightning bolt on that truck's headlights, it looked pretty cool).

Thanks for the kind words, I guess I spent too much time restoring old photos for friends and family . . . =)

Yeah, Stephanie at Obsidian Dawn has been offering PS brushes for years . . . free even, if she doesn't have the brush set you need you probably don't need it . . . lol.

"Skydivehangtime" made me laugh. :)

By august, I have to submit 2 or 3 pictures for my town's 2012 calendar. Of course, each picture has to represent the town I live in, in one way or another. So far, I have swings, and a tree. With this one, I think I have my 3rd picture.

I'll remove the watermarks, of course. :)

I like it, good sharpness, colors are mainly in the blues and yellows, giving a bit of a duotone feel to it. Interesting negative space with plenty of leading lines to the subject.

Wish I had a water tower I could shoot like that, around here we're not typically allowed to go that close to our water towers.

Nice shot, have you ever considered doing work for a stock image company?

Oops, sorry for the delay. I thought about it 2 years ago, when I started photography. I kept that idea in the back of my head, knowing that I needed more experience. Now that you are mentioning it, maybe I should consider it.
Something and something [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/my_lost_shadow/5531936742/in/photostream]a little bit older.

That dandelion shot is interesting.
The dandelion photo is marvelous.
Thanks guys! I'm really tempted to switch from Flickr to 500px but I know I'd miss the groups & direct Lightroom upload.

Now, I'd like you to meet my friends and look towards the sky.

I also love shooting RAW when I have time to do editing and there are moments when it saves my ass; as an example here's the original image with the sunflowers before any post.
Picture of my basement.

I especially like the colors in this image . . . =)
I'm quite a novice when it comes to photography, but since I recently got a Nikon D5000, I might as well try to contribute a little bit.

A couple of weeks ago I was at a medieval faire in a nearby town, and as part of that I visited this fire show and decided to check the result of setting the camera's shutter speed to one second or so. One of the several result is this.
