I keep getting "1" next to chat notifications. I've checked and there seems to be no new ones. Anyone else getting this?


While on this topic. I still haven't recovered some chat history with some users. Anyone knows whether chat message transfer is still in progress and these will appear later?

I've been having "5" on my chat for a while.

Lately, notifications take ages to appear, and twice as long to go away

I tend to get a notification if I've actually got a message, but then it lingers for ages after I've read it.

Clicking back and forth between chat and other things over and over again and refreshing a lot seems to get rid of it eventually...

i played Diablo II: Lord of Destruction years ago , online on Battlenet

and we had lag most of the time, thats what the chat feels like.

You type and .......... then you are typing more and when your 2nd line is almost done a reply comes
and then it looks as if the conversation is 'out of sync' its dificult to explain.

Back then on msn we had at least in the later versions: "username" is typing or replying or something like that so we knew if the otherside was responding, you could also notice when the otehrside stopped typing, or deleted some stuff and replied quicker, its hard to explain but at least we knew that some conversation was taking place.

Even with 3 or more people it was easy to see who was doing what.

I got those ocassionaly too. Usually when there was an unread chat message but I had GOG opened in several tabs. It sticks from some time and then goes away.

I'm more bothered with phantom friend requests. I have 2 friend requests I can't see. When I try to click them I get the gogbear dance.

I've had a "4" for a couple days but it seems to be fixed now.
