I dont think anyone has yet come up with this idea and I find it very surprising.

This is a petition to restore the classics that got removed from the store to be bundled up with more expensive enhanced editions. These games that used to sell for 5,99$ now sell for 25$+, roughly 4 times the price.

Why? To increase exposure of good old games to the rest of the world. It would be a shame if people were to skip those classics because of a price too high. You could argue that Planescape is worth a lot more than 25$, but that price is very steep for someone who is unfamiliar to the genre.

List of games to be restored: Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 and Icewind Dale 1.

What do you care, you aren't going to buy any of them. XD

But dont you miss the farm and fuzzy feeling from opening the store and seeing the original Planescape and Baldur's Gates proudly displayed like some big family crests?

The only petition I'm signing is a petition to get rid of petitions.

I get that farm and fuzzy feeling from seeing those originals proudly displayed in my own library, as I bought them way before Beamdog came onto the scene

And it would be even better if I still had the original boxed copies. Unfortunately I don't.

I could care less about whether they appear in the store or not. Other people's problems. And GOG's. But GOG has disappointed me so much by tanking the GOGMixes and throwing away hours of my work that I could care less what's good for them.

And we both agree that you're wrong 99% of the time, but considering your carpet bombing level of posts that you make here, we can also both agree that there's bound to be more misses than hits. But that's ok. Some people prefer quantity over quality.

Well if you understand that feeling, wouldnt you want to share it with others? This is about the gamers too, not just GOG. Its still pleasing to see the games on the store even if you already own them.

I try to extend an olive branch and you tell me off.

Fine.
