I've heard several times streamers having issues with performance due to windows 10 doing it's own thing either downloading or uploading data, and then shutting the system down and restarting while in the middle of a stream. Being in full screen he was probably playing for several minutes when the computer up and decided you didn't click the 'decline' button rather than realizing you couldn't even seen it.

Gnostic: Yes there are, now when you click X to the recommended window 10 update, Microsoft takes that as a yes you agree to.

The picture show you have the choice of clicking OK or X, so how to get out of the update? Alt + F4?

So do people just not know how to schedule these things? Is reading comprehension lacking in the adult populace?
Of course I have no problem with this, seeing as I jumped in as soon as the servers were done being hugged to death, and have as of a few months ago, jumped to 64 bit and moved my install onto a SSD.

They have been aggressively taking advantage of ignorance, conditioned behaviors, long standing trust of update practices, lack of paying attention, silent rule shifting, baiting, and pretty much anything else in human behavior they can think of to manipulate or take advantage of. I don't know that reducing that down to a lack of reading comprehension is an entirely fair reduction of the situation.Of course I have no problem with this, seeing as I jumped in as soon as the servers were done being hugged to death, and have as of a few months ago, jumped to 64 bit and moved my install onto a SSD.

You have to click the hyperlinked "here" (in "Click here to change upgrade schedule or cancel scheduled upgrade") See attached edited pic (edited with red and yellow).
Of course, for 8 months people were used to click the x to close the window, to the point they were doing it automatically, without reading anymore. mircosoft changed it, betting heavy on that behavior.
Pure malware behavior, straight from mircosoft!

Even without the other negative stuff at this point I would refuse it purely because of how repulsive desperate MS try to force it on everybodys machine. Its disgusting.
Gerin: After a forced upgrade to 10, I did this to go back to 7 and then downloaded the Never10 utility that the article mentions.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/3074020/windows/how-to-go-back-to-windows-7-or-8-after-an-unwanted-windows-10-upgrade.html
Looks like a cool program. Does it filter regular upgrading? So when I go to upgrade I only get the stuff that is really relevant to my OS and the W10 gets filtered out?http://www.pcworld.com/article/3074020/windows/how-to-go-back-to-windows-7-or-8-after-an-unwanted-windows-10-upgrade.html

Their target is 1 000 000 000 w10 devices and atm there are approximately 250 000 000 2 months remaining.
I'd say they're desperate.

Taking advantage of ignorance is definitely isn't good behavior but lack of paying attention is users' problems.Post edited May 27, 2016 by zeroxxx

Never left windows update on autopilot.
Always apply selective updates manually.
Never tried ti fix something that don't trouble me.
In other words I like to live dangerously!!!
If my PC is ever compromised hacker would find couple of porn and nothing else (Not even my real pic :P) .
