So people dont lose rating can some thing be done about it plz
only if the people DC just befor a win or loss token shows up.
The game then thinks it's an error you get no progression points for the game.
Can this plz be fixed

Not the normal DC where you still get the points for the forfeited game

in most online games we call those individuals babies as they don't like the group there with, fighting against, or the trolling their getting. There is NOTHING you can do other then ignore them in settings, so you are not grouped with them, fighting against them. it's not against TOS, nor is it provable that they don't have crappy internet I'm fairly certain you have a list of "names" when you see them just shout out, oh look it's the baby that can't complete a match or something, so others know to avoid them. soon those individuals are "playing solo"
I'm assuming this is about Gwent. You should ask probably on the Gwent Forums
Hasn't this been a thing since the invention of multiplayer games? Clearly there is no simple solution to this problem, if there is a solution at all.
Wait a minute. In most card games if you disconnect, you lose. Isn't it the case in Gwent? If not, I'll never play th this game. Why would I have to put up with this and lose my time?

You don't lose rating for abandoning a Gwent match? Maybe I should try it sometime. :D

I was about to ask the same. In fact, I recall reading another similar discussion a couple of months ago where another Gwent-player was complaining about the exact opposite, ie. you lose automatically if your internet gets disconnected (even accidentally).

So, what gives? Has GOG changed this and now people are complaining about the opposite? To me it sounded fair that a disconnecting player loses.

Have you considered playing some other multiplayer game, like Team Fortress 2? There people don't win by rage-quitting, in fact their team starts doing worse if people keep quitting. Less players in their team, you see?

Also if I get disconnected in a match and reconnect right afterwards to the same server/game, I lose all my points, so I am like "Awww, I had the most scores of all, and now have to start from 0 again? Oh well, I guess I just have to kill enemies twice as hard as before.".

Try posting whatever nonsense you are talking about on a relevant forum.
This topic IS relevant for a lot of online gaming, not game specific.

People disconnecting (aka dcing) just before a certain loss are losers. I used to call them yankees as they yanked the ethernet cable out in order to lose connection. Nowadays I guess one hits the button to turn wifi off. This has been a problem in a LOT of online games for a long time.

My opinion: Lost connection ==> automatic loss. Yes it is unfair for people with shaky connections but there are things one can do to improve the stability and then there are TBS and such if you cannot avoid constantly disconnecting.

Are you referring to this? If so, it's a bug, you still get MMR if your opponent forfeit, the game just don't display it right.

Not that you stil get points for that .You get no points if the DC happen just be for the win token . And the game will give you a error. no points
