no need for another one - again, gog is powerless in this matter (and obviously dont give a frubb or they would have dropped the rep system back when complaints first started).

please ask for the thread to be closed before it just turns into another "one of those" threads as they all do.

the likelihood is youve been either unjustly downrated, targeted, are paranoid or are posting shit (this applies to everybody in the situation including myself over many years here). once you accept that, it matters less. if it still matters, theres a script to allow you to no longer see, nor apply rep or ratings.

It's GoGs metagame where you down vote your opponents until their posts disappear whether it's videogame journalists,troll groups or someones 50 cent army along with GoGs secret adjustments.

What's the context?

For example, in some of the giveaway threads any post that isn't announcing a giveaway gets downvoted because the only post should be about... giveaways.

Alternatively maybe you've pissed people off for 'wrong think'.

Not defending the downvoting. This rep system is shit and needs to go but GOG doesn't gaf.

There are some permanently butthurt posters that think they were wrongly excluded from giveaways that target people who participate in those threads. And probably will until the day they die. o.O
